GamerGod has posted their second part of their coverage of the Vanguard summit. This article has a ton of never before seen stuff on the game. Here is some from their piece:
Fighting is pretty different, with various stances and skills available. As a newbie fighter I could choose to fight more offensively or defensively. I clicked on Stance of the Furious, and then clicked on one of four attack options. I kicked and swung in a slicing motion, then continued down the list to see what damage I could do. The swords are long and added nicely to my very Elf looking, tall and graceful, character. After killing a few badgers I stood there or a moment, staring at the sky, just taken aback by how incredible the trees look in this game. The closest I could compare them to is a few movies that used graphic art in their background. They are so realistic I couldn't do them justice with words, except to say it is on par with many animated movies that push for a very realistic look. |

"just taken aback by how incredible the trees look in this game."
haha sure. Vanguard uses that crappy "Speedtree" program to make their tree's... just like DAOC or WISH uses.. So their tree's look exactly like theirs.

I guess those are the "INCREDIBLE" tree's he was talking about.
I'm sure that the guy from Gamergod has seen the trees in DAoC and probably in most games released. If he says that they were the best that he's ever seen then I'll take him at his word. I don't see how some of you can discount what he tells us when he was actually in the game and none of you have been.
