where can I get some info. on combining powers? not the adding of enhancements, but the part where you click on Manage (in the enhancements tray) and the Combine screen comes up where combine the enhancements on the current power selected. I can't figure out which ones combine with which.
Thanks in advance.

Actually, this is really simple. Each ehancement Icon indicates a different method of enhancing-- there are LOTS of these, so I won't go into it. However, if you want to figure out what goes where, click and hold the enhancement as if you are dragging it. Any powers that will accept that form of enhancement will light up, and you can place it ONLY in that power.
1. Powers can only accept CERTAIN forms of enhancements. Hover your mouse over the power while in the manage screen, and it will tell you what that power can accept.
2. You will usually get enhancements you can't even use, so sell or trade these for some extra influence. For example you might get a flight enhancement, but you're level 5 and don't even have access to flight powers.
3. You can combine enhancements. This is as easy as clicking on the enhancement already in the power, and combining it with a similar enhancement. You can only combine enhancements of the exact same type, such as an accuracy enhancement with an accuracy enhancement. Yes, a 'To hit buff' is different from an 'Accuracy Bonus.' ALSO: the number of the enhancement is the LEVEL of enhancing it does. For example, if you are level 10, a level 10 enhancement gives you a normal, passive buff. If you are level 10 and have a level 9 enhancement, the power will do LESS for you than a level 11 enhancement. You can only use enhancements 3 levels higher, or three levels lower than your current level (you CAN get weaker as you level up, if you neglect your enhancements, because they do not level up. you need to replace or combine them.) When you combine enhancements, the '+' after the number indicates it is that level, PLUS an extra level. Enhancements like 10++ will actually be considered level 12. You can only combine things twice, so if you had a level 10++ you can only upgrade it with a level 12 enhancement, at which point it would become a 12+ enhancement, because when you combine it takes the higher number of whatever you are combining and adds to that.
4. You can place more than one type enhancement in a power, IF it has more slots. That's what you get on every odd level in the game; the little circles you add to your power are extra slots. If the power only has one slot, it can only accept whatever enhancement you put in it. If you drag another enhancement over an already used slot, that enhancement will OVERWRITE the previous one, and you will lose the previous enhancement.
5. When you reach level 12, you can use things called "Dual Origin Enhancements," just referred to as DO's. These are more extreme methods of enhancing; they help more. However, you can only combine them with their own form of enhancing; you cannot put a 'training' enhancement on a 'dual origin' enhancement because they aren't the same thing, really. Also, you might not be able to use certain forms because DO's are based on your origin. A tech hero can't use a mutant's DO, for example. These are more expensive (a lot more expensive), and can only be found in specialty shops, or dropped by certain foes. Only certain foes drop certain types.
6. Just like DO's, there are Single Origin enhancements. They act just like DO's, only they enhance EVEN MORE than DO's. you can't combine them with DO's or training, either, and yes they carry the origin restraints. These are the most expensive.
Hope that helps. ^^
