So dose anyone know if there will be anything like a Calculator for the game ?
Beta:
GW, WOW, AOC, DAOC, DOD, L2, VG.
Playd:
GW necro msx, WOW never maxd, DAOC reaver-paladin-cabalist-vamp max, L2 never maxd, VG never maxd.

Um calculator? 1+1 = 2 ?? or am I missing something. I've never heard of an MMO having a calculator only number crunching weirdos have ever worried about 'numbers' in MMOs...and most of them create their own programs some of which are illegal.

You mean DPS calculator? Or heals.
If so that would be a great idea, but I'm sure someone will make something to use for that.
Actually there is a calculator in EVE Online . But I doubt it'll be neccessary in a game like WAR.
EvE has one .... well had not played for around a year ...

I think that OP is talking about talent calculators, and I am sure that we will see some the moment NDA is dropped.
As a matter of fact there is a Career Calculator being made by some dudes at http://www.war-rvr.net obviously it is still in it's early stages and is very much incomplete but kudos to the guys though.

I have to say that I think the best game-relevant "calculator" will be the Realm War stats which will be posted on WAR Herald.
In DAoC, those stats were expanded to compare realms and characters in many different ways.
In WAR, we will have the same thing, usually with State of the War maps and graphics, and tons of other info.
Honestly, you won't need official forums (big PITA anyway) when you have something like WAR Herald and plenty of WAR fansite forums.
WAR Herald will have a very useful Feedback Form which you can use to communicate to the Devs. I always thought that direct feedback was better than the huge signal-to-noise ratio that official forum bickering-feedback produces.
But hey, that's just me. I'm logical and reasonable -- characteristics which are loathed by most emo-people.

I know this is digging up an old thread, but I built a Sorceress calculator that will show you which actions you'll have at a given spec and rank.
It will also show you how much damage the actions will do as well. I tried to make it fast, clean, and easy to use. I think I've succeeded.
You can see it on spelldamge.com (link left off because link threads get deleted for some reason).
It's a work in progress, but for the most part it's complete. When you visit the calculator, the first page you see will tell you what I'm working on next and I've also started a changelog.
