Desparate for a fun mmorpg
here is what im looking for
1 fantasy medieval type game. ex, swords,bows,castles, no guns or cannons
2 good pvp.
3 good graphics, not much goofy looking armor. 3D!!!!!
4 choose between different realms, can attack their cities and stuff. not important though.
5 and to travel by ship or horse would be cool. but its not important
6 price cant be over 40$ if a cd and no more than 15$ per month
7 not much magic with all those flashy colors
i am also considering warhammer, or trying darkfall when it comes out.
what is warhammer like? the pvp? addicting? and how much?

I'd Recommend WAR, but the are cannons...
Looked at SilkRoad Online ? or, maybe, got a Korean friend ? so you may play Ragnarok II, hehe.
Warhammer is, in my opinion, the best mmorpg of 2000s.

cannons on war wouldnt bother me at all. but how much does the game cost? and on war can i go to the "new world" which looks similar to america or do i need to buy another version for that?
War is about 50$, Silkroad pvp sucks it has what he asks for but again all you can do is 1 hit the other person
You might want to look at Magic of the Gods. I think it has what you are asking for except maybe good graphics. Also, it's F2P.

go for Darkfall its gonna be the best game out there when it releases, but for now... Rubies of Eventide is... entertaining, im just waiting for Darkfall

lol Darkfall by 2010, na, they are already almost finished with beta testing, and everything is done, and they set a release date for 2008 so any month now, i heard some people say december so hell yeah for that, but 2010... LOL

The people on the forums are a bunch of assholes no offence, although it's against the ndp to tell about the beta so how did you found out as the devs never announced anything about the game being done, and wasn't the release date set like 2 years ago?
it wasnt an open beta, you had to sign up for it, but i never said they were done i said there pretty much done by what they have been saying, and their progress reports
Last time i remeber they were still they were still looking for people to check the specs of the game, and not really enough information is released to say it would be out this year, i mean look how long it's been in development

We've been running the hardware configuration testing as you know.
We had some issues with our patching system which we've dealt with and now everything is running smoothly. We're patching several times a day and testing various hardware configurations.
There's no playtesting , just some professional testing on the actual servers getting things ready for the rest of us. As you can probably understand we're running full steam with everything and time is very limited but we'll keep you in the loop with these short progress updates.
I really don't know what to make of that report, sorry.
