Funcom has announced that the guild called Ascendant has become the first to have a city reach Tier 3 in Age of Conan.
Dagoth server is now the proud owner of new tier 3 city
Today we received notice that Dagoth guild 'Ascendant' had completed the construction of their tier 3 city! Ascendant had this to say:
CONGRATULATIONS ASCENDANT!!!
In a mere 4 months, through a phenominal display of teamwork and dedication, at 9:30 on October 2, 2008 Ascendant constructed our Tier 3 Architect Workshop, completing our WORLD FIRST TIER 3 CITY!

Funcom banned legit guilds who built the first cities.
I thought Lords of the Dead on Deathwisper claimed having built a T3 city a month or 2 ago.
thats funny, my guild had a t3 city by the end of June :P with a keep :P

To my knowledge you need a Tier 3 City to build a Battle Keep.
So can someone explain to me how the first Keep Siege took place end of June already?
(Ofcourse that doesn't break down their achievement of getting a Tier3 City! So congrats for that ofcourse!)

Maybe they mean FULL... As in all building are T3, Walls, Etc...
Nobody I know of had accomplished that, so maybe that's what they're talking about.
You only needed a T3 Keep for a Battle Keep.

They mean full but meh, there are alot of guilds who could´ve finished the T3 long time ago including ours but no-one cared cause it gives no real benefits whatsoever anyway. Game is dead, who cares.

Why would they ban legit guilds? That doesn't happen.
If they were banned, there was a reason for a company to remove customers that give them money.
Simply Cheating. One guy even posted on here how unfair it was he was banned, but the truth was told on the official forums. Everyone congratulated FC for doing the right thing, now some people want to spin it the opposite way.
Yep, the walls are really expensive and many guilds havn't really upgraded them once they were able to build their keep...
Lol failcom at it again. LOTD on the Deathwhisper server completed their full tier 3 city over a month ago. (walls, workshops etc. -> FULL tier 3 city) Deathwhisper is a pvp server and nobody really cared so nothing much ever came from it then when some pve rp noobs finally catch up its a world first? HAHA shows how much failcom knows about their game which is still nothing. ROFL stupid failcom stupid pve nubs
Server specific, yes Lotd were first on Deathwhisper.
Funcom is not claiming they have the first tier 3 city. They say the quote was written by Ascendants. They will be contacting the guild leader of Ascendants to change their quote so as not to reflect world's first tier 3 city. Ascendants notified them directly as Lotd did not. They were simply posting accomplisment of Ascendants completing their city.
they and failcom both clearly state world first all over their announcements they need to change that right away to server first for your argument to mean anything
