Halo 2, the addiction

Im guessing that when Halo 2 comes out it will be more addictive then any mmorpg ive ever played, or mabey even any Ive havent played(IMO).  With it on xbox live and having the new clan system come out I will probably be wasting months away on that game. The story mode will probably keep me playing it over and over again like I did the first. And even playing lan matches, co-op, or just split screen with my friends will add to the addiction fromula. Ever since the first one came out( i think it was 3 years ago) ive still been playing it even tho 3 years of games came out. Some other people will disagree and say that mmos have more replay value then that but for me that hasent happened yet. Halo 2 will be my most played game and i probably wont stop playing it till Halo 3, but that dosent mean i cant take a break from it and play an mmorpg like ummmmmm.....................WoW

    I think theres too much hype over Halo 2 but that clan system does sound cool. Im not sure if i will get it because its a pain to drag my xbox downstairs where my router is to play on xbox live.... And wireless adapter is like what, 125 dollars?image

    I can't wait either for Halo 2 and I found out that Gamestop will be opening on midnight to release the game which kicks alot of ass imo b/c i know i'm going to be one tired person when this game comes out...although I haven't heard about the clan system what is that going to be about?

    Well the clan system isnt just like "hey dude you wanna join this clan"  "uh sure watever". Clans are more established like to become part of a clan you have to actually join officially. The clan master or leader can enduct you by placing your name on these clans sights. And another cool things is that there are real official rankings. But the coolest is probably the clan sign. Your character can wear it like a badge or something. There is a lot of diffrent designs.

    I think it'll be addictive short-term, like 6 months, but nothing like the 2-3 year addiction you can get from a mmorpg. Plus I can only play twitch for a couple or three hours before I go insane. Mmorpg I can play for a whole weekend with a few hours of sleep. . .

    im addicted to WoW and only played it once! OHHHHHH THE PAIN. At least the open Beta is just around the corner.

    Special hint for you guys, while dual wielding aim for the knees the recoil is very harsh.

    true, also if you driving something while shooting shoot in the ground near the target it is more likly bullet will ricochet and hit your enemy sometimes even kill them!
