I can't find any system requirements on the WoW FAQ to be able to determine whether my current pc will run it. I would like to see if WoW will run first on my pc and whether i like it before upgrading.
Current system is P4 2 gig, 64 meg card (i know getting old now) 512 meg of ram.
Whats your thoughts guys?

Shouldn´t be any problem with that one according to best buy...

I ran the stress test with less system memory and the same amount of RAM on my video card and everything was fine.
yeah i ran the stress test using two different computers. the first computer (my brother's) was a dell dimensions p4, 1.5 ghz processor with about 256 RAM and a geforce4 graphics card. the game ran fine on that computer except that the low RAM caused the game to be laggy on parts where there was a lot of people or during long air rides on the griffons/hippogriffs/bats.
then i ran the game on my computer which is an amd 1.3 ghz processor with 512 RAM and an ATI 8500. the game ran a whole lot better than the p4. the main reason was because of the higher RAM. there was less slow down during the congested areas and lagged a lot less. there wasn't much difference between the graphics (at least not easily noticable). so yeah, your fine with the way your PC is set up.
You should be fine, if you get a new video card you will be all good..I know the GeForce 4 series is cheap now you can pick one of thoes up if you dont want to spend a lot of money
Wow that is an old comp. but WoW ran alright? Amazing!
I played Stress with:
1.2 ghz AMD Athlon
512 mb ram
GeForce 4 ti 4400
SoundBlaster Live
It ran fine, no lag at all.
I will be upgrading by the end of this year though (thank the Gods for that!)
lol my comp didnt meet almost any of the requrments and it ran smooth.
