Being on the Order side, the RvR is completely and utterly unbalanced that it's ludicrous. I dont mind dying at all, but its not even pure numbers where there are way more destruction than order. It's the fact that alot of folks "think" that the classes themselves are balanced between realms and thats simply not the case in every point.
Sure some are, but not all...but it's insane to repeatedly get owned over and over again on order side to the point of ...*newsflash* WHERE THE GAME IS NOT FUN AT ALL.
Mythic needs to fix this before they lose Order players, and then Destruction won't play cause they won't have many to kill.
Flame me if you wish, but take a step back and LOOK at the big picture.
It's ridiculous.

Come play on Mordheim as Order, I'm Destruction there, and we get our asses handed to us.
Always change your signature.
I dunno if you know.... but in each world of something... or WarWeapon... or in any mmo in the world there is a wining side and a losing side... and order is the losing one...
thats all...
in WoW.... Horde > Alliance... everyone knows it.... no matter the reason because this is not about reasons... only the fact...
here looks like the Destruction > Order.... why ...
because this is the Era of Villians... people like villians more than the protagonist... the villian is the one to be remembered... is something in the new modern 21 century culture.. lol....
I don't think there's anything wrong. I tried both sides. I won and lost on both. You might have had a bad streak. There might be a need to buff or nerf acouple classes but in all it seems ok.

Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy!
I think it is more to do with the races and classes. Mythic will have to give order some new classes and maybe a race that looks cooler too. Or they will have to balance the servers and battles a bit better.
This is nothing that can't be fixed however.
This is an extremely good example.
yes, destruction on man servers outnumbers Order but when Order can get it's act together it does very very well.

LOL id say we do pretty well considering were pretty much always outnumbered.
Are you saying that class balance favours destruction? You need to go and try playing destruction in t3 or t4 scenario and then come talk about balance between classes.
I'll agree that there are more destruction than order in general, but when it comes to class balance, it definately favours order. Furhternore, order tends to hug scenarios, and not even show their face in rvr until it's offpeak hrs, past destruction kiddies' bedtime. Imo, they need to put some caps on number of scenarios you can do per hr/day, it is killing open RvR, which what they game is supposed to be about.
Order seems to be more organized as well, since most of the wow kiddies are plaguing destruction.
that is simply not true, the most played race is Night Elf heh.
Plus on all pvp servers I've played in WoW, it was well in balance on BG's, haven't played open World PVP but heard it was a joke.
Therefore there is no telling who owns who until WoTLK comes out with non-instanced PVP zone with siege weapons.
come play on azzel server i play order and they f*ckin rape in teir two bgs
why must you QQ so much ...
I agree that Destruction outnumbers order in at least t1 to t3 on the servers I have played on. In tier 2 the odds are hugely in favor of dest by sheer masses. That being said, I have been playing a Witch Hunter and have had no problem in scenerios or RVR. If I plan right I can even take out an equal level Chosen or, if I am really lucky a Black Orc 1 X 1. It took me a while to find the rythm and best uses of incognito but the classes are balanced if you play to the strengths of the class.
Destruction is often times, especially in scenarios, way less organized and Order beats them a lot. Also, I read about order playing in many scenarios. It is the best way to play a balanced game since, in open RVR for at least t1-t2 there are simply too many destruction players. Even if Order takes a battle point or keep it is hard to hold on to.
Our guild took the Elf T2 keep and held it for nearly five hours. During that time the waves of Horde players never stopped coming. We eventually had to relinquish and go home. We did hold it though, so that speaks to the fact strategies make a difference and that classes are reasonably balanced. It was utter overwhelming masses that made us eventually give up and let them take it back. Heck, we even planned diversionary tactics by taking a few points in Dwarf t2 then flying to Elf lands while Destro was coming to take those dwarf points back.
Too the point. I think the classes are fine. it is the numbers of destruction players and the fact, if not careful, you will be swarmed by Tanks with a healer or two backing them up. If that happens and you don't have equal support, you are done.
I'm sure the OP was referring to open world and keep takes, so scenario stats mean nothing. I play order and a friend plays on another server, all tier 2 and 3 keeps are destro owned 95% of the time.
I agree order needs superior communication/tactics, but from a purely numbers game, we're outnumbered are the majority of servers. Call it whatever you want, but it's harder to take and hold keeps. I didn't mind it, but seeing the medium pop servers are start are still medium, I'm concerned they won't fill out and WAR at this point may be close to maxing out.
Ultimately if you';re giving up 10,30 or 50% in numbers to your opponent, they have much fresher legs and reinforcements are that much easier to keep the ball rolling day/night by fully controlling keeps.

I beg to differ, on my server (Magnus) Order players are so uncoordinated and inexperienced. For example:
Tier 2 Phoenix gate scenario, there would be 1 player from destro side cross the bridge and lure in a few players from order, those guys get killed...and then the healers run in to try and heal...then they get killed...then the dark elf witches who is invised comes and grab the flag runs it back. This happens at least about 75% of the time that I play this scenario. Theres no teamwork, they are a bunch of idiots. I get frustrated with ignorant fools like them.

90 win for horde in general
10 or less for alliance ...
not ammount of people...
that was pre BC
not really interested in what is going on now...
but the fact that in WoW PvP the horde beat up the alliance almost always still stands....

hm... mixed behavior on diferent servers... that can be intesresting...
this is true i play order on that server. Order is very competitive and we have lots of fun. We take keeps and do very well in scenerios. IF you want to play order just try to find a good server. I went through 5 servers playing order before i found Mordheim. I know it can suck but we order can be good. and its about a 500x better game with an active guild.
On the server wasteland, it just depends. Sometimes Destruction actually gets it's act together and we come up with a plan other than run in and beat everything up (Which can work depending on whats going on) and we win a few scenarios. But in most T2 scenarios I've played, order has won. At least on mourkain temple. We can grab it first on destr. but it doesn't matter. As soon as an order player grabs the artifact, they run back to their spawn and hide with it and get unilimted heals from the top of the cliff. So, we just lose there pretty much.
But it just depends on who you're grouped with and if they can think beyond "smash head" or not.
Come play on Ostermark, yesterday we owned every single keep and battlefield objective in Tier Two.
In an Open PvP game with capturable points, one side is naturally going to control more than the other at times. Perhaps in the morning Order controls the majority, but during the day Destruction takes some keeps and now they are the dominant realm.
This happens in every game with fixed capturable battlefield points, take LoTRO for instance.
The server I played on had an accumulation of European creep players, and during the later hours we would dominate due to all of the Brits waking up and logging on. During the mornings however there would be TONS of American players and it would be entirely impossible to capture anything at all (with the exception of the Lumber Yard at times).
A few months after I started playing on the server, we began to organize ourselves during the day. We would use Teamspeak, have a certain amount of each class for balance (always enough healers), and plan out what we were going to capture and how we would overcome the Freep numbers. Months later, it is a very balance battleground that is dominated neither freeps or creeps. Of course each side dominates at certain times during the day, week, month, and year because of actual overwhelming numbers. But there are more things to factor into the big picture other than numbers (or a bad RvR experience).
Sometimes you lose, sometimes you win, i'm just curious as to who owned you so bad that you felt like coming on to the forums to blame numbers rather than try and look at the big picture yourself.
Good luck in RvR, i'm sure things will work out in the future.
STOP WHINING!
