Crysis is a very good game. My favorite FPS along with Bioshock. Crysis has the best graphics. Bioshock is just a work of genius. WAR got nothing on them.
why are you comparing FPS to RPG.
Do you not have a guild? Yes there is no world chat, but im fine with that I usually block it out anyways. I think this game attracts people like me that really don't care for world chat bs and just chat in groups and guilds.
Because FPS and RPGs are both video games. Is Half Life 2 better than Neverwinter Nights 2? You bet.
Fact is, FPS these days have way more imagination, innovation, quality than MMORPGs. MMORPGs are languishing because most MMO players will never be satisfied. Why? Because most of them aren't looking for a video game - they are looking for a second life (no pun intended) to replace their real one, which is usually suckier and a lot less heroic. Myself excluded, of course.

I thought both sucked compare to the first games, sequels rarely got that new and brilliant ideas and those first 2 games changed their genres. The sequels didn't.
Still it is about having fun and if someone likes a game better he should play it. I do understand why, WAR is closer to a FPS than any other MMO ever made.
Wait, what? The only FPS that has had any imagination put in that has come out in recent years is Bioshock, but it's hardly innovative. It's basically a dumbed down version of System Shock 2 for the console crowd in terms of gameplay (which is the important part of a game). Other than that, all the FPS games are just HOOOOAH! GOOD JOB SHOOTING THAT ALIENS FACE OFF, SPACE MARINE. HERES A BIGGER GUN NOW GO SHOOT SOME MORE ALIENS AND SAVE THE WORLD.

War is closeer to a FPS ???? .. War is no way near FPS, and have you heard of Planetside ? Tabula Rasa ? Now those are MMOFPS ( Well TR Tries to be, but still feels more like FPS than mmo imo ).. WAR doesnt even have a FPS targeting system, how can you compare WAR to an FPS, just because the gameplay is fast doesnt make it a FPS..
