Waiting to join with a group of people

I would like to join FFXI with a fun group of people.  I am wiling to wait, as  half of the experience is meeting new people and leveling with them.  I hope to find other people like this out there and willing to wait for a few people and join together.  PM.

    This is actually the only way I would play this game. I had fun for the first few levels where I could solo but after that good groups were way too hard to find at low levels. I always liked the Final Fantasy universe and I am one of those people that read all the quest and lore. This was one of the few games that gave me that sense of wonder that got me addicted to my second and longest played MMO. The biggest problem is it has some of the similar downfalls. If you don't have a group then you really can't do much. The way my play time is with games now I don't want to have to rely on groups to have progress or I would need to be sure there were people around to play. I hope you find one because I think this would be a really interesting game.

     I played this game with a group of people right when it started.  It was great.  But they were VERY hard core and it was taking its toll on my real life.  We were one of the first North American LS to defeat some of the Harder Larger Bosses BCNM I think they were called

    Actually they were called HNM for hunting or hyper notorious monster. BCNM is burning circle notorious monster.(When you trade in beastman seals to fight for good loot)

    Thats what they were called!  King Behemoth was my first one to help in on with healing.

    I just recently decided that I might return to the game. I played it back in '04 when it hit in the US but only lasted a couple of months due to the group wait times driving me nuts.

    I might bring a couple of friends of my own, but I'm not yet sure if they'll like the game. But we'll still need more people for regular groups.. so, perhaps we can hook up :)

    Only thing is, I'm in the UK so timezones may be an issue depending on where you are..
