CoH... i just bought it last Saturday and so far im having a great time (which would explain my week-long absence on MMORPG.com boards)...
SUPPOSEDLY its good for the 1st couple weeks but gets boring later, so i could be speaking too soon... but from what i've played so far its WELL worth the price... and that's saying ALOT seeing as i had to pay $100+ for the box and time card... damn these canadian taxes >=(

Does any other game have monthly storyline and updates in the quality and quantity AC1 does? And that's practically free content not expansion packs. Since AC1 has only ever had one expansion pack, the monthly updates have been coming non-stop for over 4 years and have become increasingly more indepth and extensive.
Sorry if it's a stupid question. I haven't spent anytime playing any other MMO for any extended period of time other than AC1 and AC2. I know other have patches and fixes but are they on a regular basis and do they actually always include new quests, items, monsters, stories, etc. like AC1 and AC2 do every single month.
Actually I just picked DAOC up again to kill a month.
Its actually pretty fun. I didn't like it the first time I played it but this time I'm on the RP server and I don't remember squat about the game which is great. Its like a whole new world for me. I think its the most fun I've had in an MMORPG since the first few months after SWG came out.
If you haven't played DAOC lately I suggest picking up a copy at Best Buy for 10 bucks like I did and play for a month. Its a great cheap way to get through october until WOW open beta.
