Just a couple of short "time-lapse" films that show off the Vanguard enviroment.
The first shows a dynamic storm rolling in and then clearing.
The Second shows 24 in-game hours in the start village of the Isle.
Both shot within the last few days, get the trial HERE

Both very cool videos, reminds me of some that were released by Sigil.
Dynamic weather and day/night are awesome features of VG.
I especially like how sometimes the horizon is red in colour during day break, amazing stuff.
Now playing: VG (after a long break from MMORPGS)
Played for more than a month: Darkfall online, Vanguard SOH, Everquest, Horizons, WoW, SWG, Everquest II, Eve
No doubt, VG is both very beautiful and filled with immersive atmosphere.
I just got back from a six months break, and I'm amazed at how much better the client runs. I have not left the isle yet though, so perhaps it still is laggy on the continents...?
.............
When in doubt, troll.
Nothing to worry about its a lot, lot better.
However not without fault, some areas such as NT have a lot of hitching.
Generally though, its so much better.

Nice videos!
That was my first time at vgmanor.com and I added it to my vanguard bookmarks.
Damnit those videos made me miss VG even more. Noooooooooo all my friends had to go to Warhammer. Hopefully i get to come back to Telon soon... i miss my Cleric and Druid
very nice video ideas.
I have always been amazed at how beautiful the Vanguard world can be. Often people rush around and quest without stopping to look around.
How old are your friends? A better question might be how will your friends get along with all the annoying little snot nosed juvenile delinquents that flock to all the mainstream next generation games such as WoW, AoC, and now WAR? I for one steer clear of such games as the community in those games make me want to stick a pine cone up my ass. Can you smell what I'm cooking? Currently playing Ryzom and the community there will not be beat...ever (although the gameplay is a bit drab but there is something about it that keeps me logging in...........................?

Mainly 25 to anywhere to 40. Me being 26 myself... we all came from Vanguard. As for the War community go's... i can't really judge it yet. Cause with the lack of general chat channels.
I don't ever notice anyone ever being immature kid's, like you always find in WoW, or AoC. And honestly im glad they made it that way. But it also makes people chat alooooooottttttttt less. Which is a good and bad thing.
War is group based game and mainly guild based game to...... which you can easily filter assholes out your guild.
My problem with War... which i happen to like a good deal. I never got a special feeling like i did with VG... like exploring all the bad ass sweet dungeons in VG. War to me anyways... has the same ol been there done that feeling with areas i visit. But the RvR and PQ's make up for it,.... for now anyways. Plus jobs in VG are more original and feel more epic to me then War's.
I would take Vanguard PvE anyday of the week over Warhammers. But Wars RvR to damn fun. Wish i had the time for both games. Now if they could only combine both games... i would be in heaven.
