Question about a Possible Return

DarwaDarwa Member UncommonPosts: 2,181

I can't find the info I seek either here, the official site, their forums, or through google, but I'm certain oone of you will be able to help.

Is there a 'returners trial' or similar available?

I'm sure I read somewhere about one, but I simply can't verify it.

Please help

Nope there is NO free time to come back. This is Funcom.

I returned to AoC but I never had to unsubscribe. You see I bought WAR and the night before WAR released patch 2.0 came out. I tested it and most of my griefs were sorted out. WAR on the other hand had serious performance issues. I was back in AoC in a week. You on the otherhand have naturally to buy subscription to start to play again. How long time ago did you leave?

I stopped playing back in June apparently.

I waited until about 10 minutes after I posted, then impatience foced me to resub.

I logged in, noticed how much better it runs, ran around a bit, decided I didn't really want like the 'feel' of the game still, and unsubscribed again.

To be honest, I'm just sick to the hind teeth with the whole fantasy thing. I need a sci-fi mmo. but that's another topic.

im betting before the end of the year is up funcome re-opens all accounts that were closed for like a week or something

im sure they just wanna get a few patches out before that tho

honestly AoC is looking great now and if they reopen 400k+ accounts im sure quite a few of those people will agree and stay on board

No free trials, its all about the money form funcoms perspective.

Ehm, can you please take off your pink goggles... It was a decent patch, but it was far from game changing. OP: I'd say try it, $15 isn't that much. But I doubt you will find it that different from before.

So what does that have anything at all to do with what the OP asked? Why bring up WAR, and who cares if you still had time left in AOC? Of course you could return to Age of Crap if you had time left.

Stupid AoC billed me for an additional month after I had cancelled.  I cancelled my account before my month was up, so I shouldn't have been billed another month.  After that I'll never go back to the game.  It's just a way for a company who's Failed to steal some final revenue so they don't go down the tube as quickly as they already are.

Buy a timecard. Makes it simple.
