Crafting?

SlappanSlappan Member Posts: 289

Does the crafting in this game involve concentrating on a few specialties, or can you get every crafting skill there is? Are there any ways of increasing crafting skills other than creating them (for example skill books)? I'm level 29, yet I only have 1/100 in both cooking and medicine. Levelling them up seems pretty expensive.

I heard you can be tought by other players. Or simply speak to NPCs you find around to learn new crafting skills. Anyway it should be possible to learn every crafting skill but I think it should be really tidious.

As far as i know, the only way to level up crafting is by doing the workload. It is also true that you can learn every crafting available but it is up to you which ones you want to specialize in.

Now regarding the post above on other players teaching you about crafting, this is only for a higher level but you still have to work on the craft points for you be be eligible for a higher level.

Pointers i can give based on experience is that you can check in "Community" then "Artisan" then choose the crafting of your choice. This gives a list of other players who have that skill and is arranged from highest to level. Just whisper those who is willing to teach you level one if you still doesn't have it or what level you wan't to learn. This also saves you money.

Regarding the mats, a friend of mine buys material boxes from the market and uses that instead as a source of materail. The good thing i see in this is that you can sell the other mats that you won't use and you can use the mats needed from it. So far, my friend in gross is gaining money while being able to level up the craft she is working on.

Hope i was able to clafify things a bit and was able to help.

    Long live atlantica.

and even though there is auto-crafting, it still is a lot of work ooh my...

Ah, auto craft. that is true that it is still a lot of work even on auto craft plus the massive amount of money you will get to spend.

But still, its what i use simply because i can do it when i'm earning will and or i need to have a quick nap and do something at home.

Basically with this autocraft, you don't have to do manual monster attack and all. lol
