this treasure map is a bonus item given by the gm when you log in the game atleast 1 hour... and it is one of the good benefits you will get in playing atlantica... this treasure contains food that you will be needing in leveling up.. it heals your hp better than the potion...

But, how will I use it? I've just noticed that I got it and it says it will be removed on Oct. 23... I want to be able to use it before its lost...

you just right click it to use it, it will give you general directions to where a treasure chest will spawn in 5 minutes. you can then click "Open Map" and a little treasure chest icon will be on the map, simply go there and attack the chest like it was a monster. the chest will only be there for 1 minute so you have to be quick. a good thing to do before you go treasure hunting is to enter every town in the game so that no matter where a chest spawns you will be able to port to the closest town. the one eyed pirate chests can spawn a bunch of things ranging from heavenly feast, growth potions, license boxes and even horses.

No, but i suggest having all the town maps (gained by going to that town) in the starting region, as all pirate maps spawn somewhere in there

Not only food. Certain boxes can be found there including mounts. And cultural boxes that can be exhanged to Howard. Though to maxmize the effects of the map you have a teleport license. Saves the trouble of moving around too much.
