I just got my fileplanet subscription account suspended for trying to get in on different computers, yay me! Got an email notice about 20 min ago. What a blunder!
wow guys that sucks for you. i had no problems at all though. camped the page at 3pm refreshing about every minute. at 3:10 link came up, entered my info, got my key and ive been downloading ever since. bout 1/2 way done with the dl. games are so big these days.

For those of you that are getting the page telling you that you need to subscribe, even though you already have, check your E-mail or your account management, you may have gotten your account suspended due to "unusual activity".
I've had it with this, not even waiting to hear from their customer support, it's cancelled.
I won't be a sucker for this crap again. I guess I learned my lesson the hard way. It just sucks for me because I have been reading what people say about his same sort of scam for months and I still fell for it!
Fileplanet really dropped the ball on this one, I just got an email stating my subscription was suspended also. I was refreshing quite a bit like the rest of the folks.. I guess just because we weren't lucky enough to get it in a reasonable time we get flagged as causing too much extra strees on the server.. I understand the precaution but damn, they better reactivate all these accounts that JUST signed up and PAID them money for the sole purpose of attempting to get a MO beta spot.

looks like even though i got a key i cant download cause my account was suspended too... oh lol... these people are such failures. I knew i shouldnt have given them a second chance. So what are we gonna do about this?

yup i finally got mine now, but now i cant register with MxO's site first didn't like my email addy, then after i got to the Credit card part, it fails on nexst page
Now I work for America West Airlines, so I've decided to use my travel benefits since I was planning the next two days off to beta test this game, and am unable to get in. Here is my customer support request description of the 'problem'.
"Dear Customer Support, I have spent the past two hours attempting to register for the Matrix beta. Because one of you stupid fucks decided to start this thing at peak usage hours in the U.S. I was forced to refresh the page constantly as instructions per error page. And for some incredibly disconcernable reason my account has been suspended due to 'unusual activity'. Because I no longer have anything to do for the next two days because of your mistakes and shortcomings, I have decided to spend the next few days with you. That is right. Tomarrow afternoon I will be in your face, asking why a bunch of incompetant fucks have suspended my account. And when you give me your inadequate answer I will grab your desk PC and shove that fucker so far into the local server that you'll be finding pieces of it long after christmas. As for the costs of me travelling to you? I fly free bitch!"

LordVanidor, I can see why you would get so mad. But you realize you're just making it worse. Customer support doesn't really have anything to do with it. And more than likely they will probably ignore you now, I know I would. If you were more polite you might have it resolved tomorrow and still be able to play. Just my opinion.
Ackbar, I assume they are trying to authorize payment just to test if the card is real. Did you try putting in a fake card assuming they didn't really do any kind of checking on it? I really doubt you have anything to worry about, it's not like this MMO is being run by a little unknown company.
Well the card is perfectly real and valid it just happens to be maxed right now ...
Oh well i guess ill switch to a different card and allow them the oppoturnity to pilfer my funds for no reason. Im sure it says theyre allowed to do that in the 4 different legalese aggreements i had to make.
I really want to get into this beta. I made another FilePlanet account and got right in. I am now at 55% in the download.
Those bastards better un-ban my original account, I am still pissed!
I really get frustrated and go off the deep end when these things happen, but I don't have it as bad as the guy who's flying over to FilePlanet tomorrow to kick their ass with a computer.

Wow Tymora you must really wanna get into that beta. I wont be giving fileplanet any more of my money unless they unsuspend my account apologize and give me a free month otherwise ill just dl beta client and bam cancel. To go and create another account just for the beta is kinda crazy....
Well, I have every intention to cancel my account once I am in the beta, at least the one they banned.
I do like the service that FP provides, I am always downloading patches and demos, so it is good for me, but I never used it to get into a beta before, and it was NOT a good experience like their regular service usually is.
Now that I think about it, they probably made things better for more people trying to get into the beta by cutting down traffic, but that still doesn't excuse the way they did it. What nerve of them to ban accounts! Unusual activity, whatever.
Let's see if they think losing a bunch of new subscribers is "unusual.
