    Skies of Arcadia Online maybe...

...but please do not let SEGA develop it!

What media franchise I would like to see as a MMORPG game, well I'm quite a big fan of anime's so I'd rather see those anime's. Bleach can be a good MMORPG game, since it has almost 13 divisions of Gotei and there were the hollows who is now evoloved into arrancars with Aizen leading them for glory, another thing is the new breeds of warriors the Vizards, I know that this will be great on psp games, but I believed that it will also be great on mmorpg game. I am also thinking of Naruto, since it was a clan/group/country base anime, it will be great if I'll see those anime's converted into a mmorpg.

Is quite a few animes that would make good MMOs, like RAVE, Naruto, Hyper police, The slayers (I would play that :D)Record of lodoss war, Hellsing and Trigun... Dam, Trigun would make a nice post apo MMO.

Halo, but only if it is down with voice over from Red vs Blue.
As a die hard "Wheel of Time" fan i can say, please dont ruin it by making it into a MMO. You can do Sword of Truth if you want, after book 4 it really started to suck.

Sorry to say but the halo MMO died after being ran over by sarges Worthog . www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php

Deadlands. We need a Weird West MMORPG!

I got two more to add Spaceballs: the MMO and The Princess Bride. I'm not much of a fantasy fan(i.e. WOW or WAR.), but I would play The Princess Bride if it was a MMO.

May the Schwartz be with you.

I do not envy the headache you will have when you awake. Until then, rest well and dream of large women.

When we get back from where we are going, we will return to where we were. I know people there!

Clive Barker's Weaveworld or Imagica would make good MMO's.

Same with the Dark Tower worlds/universes by Stephen King.

Of course David Eddings Belgariad would work well.

Underworld would be cool, with the Vampires and Werewolves as the factions.

A persistant Resident Evil world with different cities and types of Zombies/Tyrants.

Anyone remember the movie Dreamscape? Having a dream world where you develop powers as you begin to lose your grip on sanity would not only be cool, but thought provoking, as while you are leveling up, you are condemning your character to madness.

Hey, Trigun is weird west too and would work better... well maybe not better but funnier...

But you are right, this genre is either fantasy or space opera, a wierd western of any kind would be fresh :D

I'm a fan of mechs so Mechwarrior is good and then Gundam that's better than the dead game ATC Raycrash. These can also be made into something like a MMORTS. Gundam should come with more action and fast in pace.

I can't believe the only epic fantasy series mentioned for possible mmo's were The Wheel of Time and The Sword of Truth.  Has no one out there read George R. R. Martin's a Song of Ice and Fire ??   If you haven't and you enjoyed the Wheel of Time and/or Sword of Truth then why the hell haven't you !!  Shame on you all ! Wheel of Time was great, don't get me wrong, and Sword of Truth good, though not so much so as WoT, but omg your doing yourselves an injustice by not picking up the aforementioned title immediatly!

How about Dragon Lance books? The books are pretty good fantasy books thats similar to LOTR.

    Long live the Scottish!

I'm not a big fantasy fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Chronicles of Narnia MMO. Of course I wouldn't want it in the hands of Disney. Look what they did to their own Pirates of the Caribbean Online.

a Narnian MMORPG could be awesome, but personally i have doubts that it'd be done justice.

I can't imagine it. I feel its best as a regular RPG.

How about a classic Looney Tunes MMO.  You create a toon, animal, human, or whatever. Your weapons would be like dropping anvils on your enemies, pies in the face, spraying bottles of water, shotguns, pistols, dynamite, and other classic Looney Tunes weapons. I don't know if done right it could be fun mayhem, lol. Hopefully if Warner Brothers made this game, it would be better than Disney's Toontown Online crap. I know little kids who it is made for, that don't even like the game, lol.

I would like to see Bioware's Neverwinter Nights or Obsidian's Neverwinter Nights 2 made into an MMO.  They are both based on D&D but could succeed where DDO was limited and failed to bring the essence of D&D to MMO's.

*EDIT* Would also like to see a Dragonlance MMO based around the time of The Legend of Huma made.  Great potential for PvE and PvP due to the warring factions.

Up for both Neverwinter Nights and DragonLance. I will definitely give them a shot.

    Baldur's Gate

    Fallout

    Starcraft

    Diablo

    One word:   Firefly

However with a design team and publisher who know what they're doing and don't try to use a modified 3D chat engine.
