Have any of you tried fishing in this game? I remember playing Breath of Fire series and enjoying fishing. How do you get the fishing skill? Is it from a quest or do you just buy it? Also, what are the possible rewards you can get from fishing, aside from probably food? I think it is similar to WoW where you can get rare items from fishing.

Haha, Breathe of Fire. One of the best fishing mini games i have played in an RPG. lol
I am looking forward to this fishing ingame as well. It is as a matter of fact intrigueing and i have plans of trying it out maybe sometime next week.
Here's what i will do then. I will try it out and reply here of my experience as a way of sharing the fun.

fishng in the game sounds interesting... do we need a rod on this?? or it just like the auto craft??? and what fishes are available on this game??? i want to make sushi!!! does fishing generate big money?? i mean is fish in the game is expensive??
Apparently BoF struck a chord with us players ,. i too have the same memories having Ryu cast a stick rod into the ocean catching a whale and this weird fish dude diver..
ive always wondered about the fishing in the game.. and i am too interested in learning the craft of fishiing.. if you thinkg about it mmorpgs is just like fishing.. you kill em
