Lots of people have messaged me regarding this and to clear things, For all the new players of the game, if you have been to the arena and watched in the colloseum, please don’t copy the strategies being played in there.. The whole point of the arena is betting and not to toeach you offensive and defensive strategies... They might look awesome but if they fight in free league they will be eaten alive by strategists in the game.. Scholars of the game who want to learn more about the art of turn based strategy should fight in free league.. you will learn more there and dont worry if you lose, ranks dont matter as long as you learn valuable lessons in strategy... Thinking about it i wonder if the whole betting arena is fixed? Maybe game devs can determine who will win by basing it on the dividends and the number of players who bet certain amount of big money in the game.. its another way to control the economy in the game because money is fairly easy so the easiest way is to fix the betting system to take back the money theyve earned in quests

after posting this yesterday i would like to eat my words now...
arena has just finished and there was this one particular match between alkinarapay and jeanne in the quarterfinals which surprised me and almost all of the observers...
alkinarapay is a witch and jeanne is a lady knight.. what happened was after the normal attacks eventually alikinarapay was down to her last merc while jeane was still with her swordsman a viking and i think a spearman..
next phase jeanne finished of the last remaining merc of alkinarapay so now alkinarapy is ripe for the barrage of attacks due her.. next phase alkinarapay cast meteor strike.. dealt good damage but everyone was still standing...
next phase, jeanne's turn, just as though everyone was expecting an attack, she just stood there and did nothing... even her mercs! no attacks no heals as if the AI of the npc is mocking the other npc Alkinarapay
next few turns jeanne kept selling her turn and one by one alkinarapay sniped off each merc with her trusty wand, basic attack of course... this went on for 5-10 minutes, the other quarter finals were already done and they were just waiting for the result of this match.. eventually alkinarapay defeated jeanner who just stood there like a sitting duck..
now everyone was wondering was the betting arena fixed? everyone was laughing and some mocking the game as they watch their bet on jeanne go down the drain?
one important thing that people neglected during this match was the fact that although jeanne had the advantage on mercs, throughout the early phases pf the battle, alkinarapay kept on casting mana burn spells on jeanne's poarty... some underestimate this skill because they dont know the value of this in the game considerng that the spell is not available earlier in the game.. Alkinarapay kept on casting this spell because shes a witch, which means she has a flying character.. melees cant touch flying except if they use skill or magic on her.. but in this case, by the time alkinarapay has no more merc left, jeanne and her mercs also have no more mp.. this basically makes alkinarapay invinsible... casting meteor showers, waiting for 2-3 turns then casting again without worrying about what jeanne will do to her.. nice battle.. good thing to keep in mind in PVP's and PVE's thats for sure
Iwatched the game also.. initially i thought there has a bug on it buy upon analyzing the battle... jeanne and his 2 mercs are both melee attacker... and akinarapay is a flying hero [witch].. at first we was wonderin why jeanne didnt attack along with his two mercs.. and then i observe.. the reason why they wern't attacking is because of mana drain... akinarapay drain all their mana and if you are a melee attacker there's no way in hell you can attack flying but to use your skill... with the help of mana drain akinarapay win the battle.. and what a come from behind victory scre by akinarapay
makes you wonder though if eventually they will be releasing a flying hero class.. this would be an effective strategy in PVP.. instead of targetting health your whittling down mp... by that you immobilize melees and you could just focus destroying the longrange characters
