awesome, good to know. i looked at 9 series cards but all seem to be pci-expressx16 2.0 which my motherboard doesnt support =( so that would take two upgrades. When you say large scale battles like rvr is that when there lots of people on screen like 50vs50? or just like 5v5 10v10..just tryn to narrow things down so i can see what i need.
Anyone else with around same computer specs?
EDIT: I lied, I just noticed you have the P4 - I've got the Core2Duo, so I'm not sure how much that effects preformance.
I doubt this game supports duo/quad cores so it doesn't matter
It does, in fact, support dual cores, but I cannot speak to quad. It does not, howerver, support SLI/Crossfire.
yea no core2 =( min. spec says 2.4+ghz p4..and i heard min spec for war runs it "not so well". i was hoping have over min. spec vid card and ram would help me since i have slightly over spec cpu.... yea i dunno .. thats why i needed feedback from someone with or around my specs =P but so far the info i recieved does help me...anyone else out there? possibly?
I have 6800 1.5 gigs of ram p4 3.1 i run lowest settings antilasing 2x i get 20-40 fps in pve and 10-25 in pvp.. but i just bought ati 3850 512m agp and will now have 3 gigs of ram so i should be fine to max everything out.
on another note i go to can you run it.com and it says i have 2processors rated at 4.5ghz but i have a pentium 4 hmm
