This is the worst grinder I have played. You have to grind for everything. I guess that is how they force you to spend lots of money in the item mall. I thought it was a horrible game.
i beg to disagree, almost all MMORPGs are grinders but if youve explored the game long enough one does not have to grind in AtO in order to play the game. Crafting, owning of towns, nations, earning money in the market by playing with the demand and supply, developing mercs, are some of the examples of how diverse this game is..
In fact if you think about it, levelling is not at all a problem in the game... levelling is the least of your worries because npc quests give humongous exp more than enough to push you +7 to 8 levels per day...
maybe you should provide valid opinions on why you think this game is a grinder because your basis, the item mall is not even open.
I happen to enjoy levelling my characters up, if you ask me. But, as conqistador said, it is not all about all about grinding since there are also other things you can do it the game. I may not be exactly the best person to talk about AtO since I'm still a bit in the beginning, but as I progress in the game, I kept learning about new skills (such as enchanting! Really, I can't say enough about enchanting weapons! And, I'm really looking forward to learning about crafting!) and other stuff (just learned about licenses).
Yeah, Atlantica Online got a lot to offer. As your journey starts, you get to have quests that will give you quests that'll teach you something such as how to sit, how to manage your inventory, depends I guess on what level you are. I guess playing for a while and judging the game wouldn't be appropriate. You had to explore more because that is where to 'good stuffs' are located I guess.
