While playing Atlantica Online, I just walked past a character riding a horse. I was about to ask him how did he get the horse, but as I turned back, he was gone. It was really cool. You will look like a knight in Atlantica Online if you got one. My question would be how would I be able to get one? And I guess you would be able to run faster if you got a horse, right?

There are various degrees in mounts (check the market), but the 1st one (and most common) gives you a +10% speed bonus.
The mount license (7 days) is either obtained by winning a fight against a dev, or by finding it in a treasure chest.
So having a horse is not permanent? You have to obtain a license first before having a horse right? Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!

Yeah, they're licenses (As far as I know) that last for 7 days.
Huwoo, that is quite a cool feature. You can actually ride a horse for a limited time frame by gaining a license? This is what I love about this game it is full of surprises. This is quite surprising really.

I saw that one too but I do not know if it was the same character that we saw. I was about to ask the same question too on how to get a horse. And after reading this thread, I now know that there are other mounts besides a horse. That is very cool!
I didn't know you can obtain a horse as well.
Unfortunately, I don't have a Mount license yet. I hope I can find one soon.
Wow, I am very fortunate that I saw this thread. I never knew that you can a ride a horse in this game. I am only a beginner in Atlantica Online and in this forum and everyday, I learn about new things about the game. I am excited to get that mount license and have my own horse.
ive always wondered about this, what does the 10% speed bonus mean? does it mean movement speed bonus as in when youre running the map or does it also increase your speed while in battle thereby increasing your number of turns?
and i think aside from the speed bonus you also get to have an increase in defense depending on the quality of the horse

Increase in defense?So that means we get to use the horse during battle too?Wow! that's pretty cool. This game really has full of surprises for gamers. I can't wait to get that mount license and a horse during battle. Just like a knight as mentioned above.
but i think the drop rates of mounts in treasure chests aren't that high. i've already gone to four treasure chests and all i got are advance licenses and heavenly feasts.
since were on the subject of mounts already, has anyone seen someone with an elephant already? i'd love to see one of those.
Its cool alright. And it sucks why did it have to come in licenses. But I guess that's pretty much close to reality. Real horses get tired too and will run away from you after a while LOL. Though I don't think the lowest horse has an increase in defense. Dunno about the others.
