Would a 3rd (playable) faction make WoW more interesting?

Do you guys think adding a 3rd faction of races, lets say races that both the alliance and Horde hate, would make WoW a little more interesting?? Maybe races like Murlocks, Ogres, Quillboar, Dark Iron Dwarves, Giants, etc etc etc?? Dont you guys think the battlegrounds would be more interesting if a 3rd faction was involved??

They don't do it for a few reasons.
1: Too hard to balance, people already com;lain about AV, imagine a BG with 3 sides to balance.
2: it's Different. the game is already a crazy success, too much change would risk that.
3: They would have to remake a TON of their content. all the current BGs are based on 2 sides and just don't work with 3. they are never going to go over already completed content for that much of a change.
4:Too hard to balance, really, every PvP server would open up complaining.
5: no really, imagine how much content they would have to completely change, thats a lot of work.
EDIT: I forgot to say, even if they'll never do it, I'd still love to see it.

absolutely, i would LOVE it if they did that, but its never going to happen sadly, but if it did, i think it would bring so much more to the game.. would enhance pvp, give new races and probably classes, new models, more choice and would help keep the game from getting so boring (for me at least).

Dont think it would work, they would pretty much have to remake the whole game since its based on horde and alliance right now.
I think this could work if the other faction were kinda neutral ike furblogs and goblin type races and have it to where u could choose sides at like level 20
I would love to see a Neutral faction that could be joined by players who were tired of the Alliance / Horde duality. Neutral faction could allow Horde and Alliance races to team together, a direction the lore already leans toward. I remember the early screenshots of the game showing groups consisting of orcs and humans adventuring together.

it might at first, but then it would fade off, Its really not that the game is un interesting, its just people are looking for something and they arn't sure what it is and it seems most mmo's don't have what people want -shrug-

I think a new faction would be a great addition to the game, but I was always hoping that it was a nuetral faction that allowed both horde and alliance to join. The only difference with the faction is that you couldn't attack other faction members, but you could group with them. You could still partake in PvP and they could easily make BGs for this faction that were against just one of the other factions. Actually even better would be if you created two new factions... I'm thinking Cenarion Circle and that Mining Company... The new BGs would then be exclusively CC vs MC, so that you wouldn't imbalance the current BGs, yet you'ld allow players in these new factions to take part in PvP... you could even add a new race for both factions, maybe Goblins for the Mining Company and Furbolgs for the CC.
If you're reading this, you probably need to get some sun.
It would be a nice addition, but it would wreck lore, and in the end, wow would still be the same. Addition of another faction would not change the essentials of what the game is. Raiding would still occur, arena etc. Of course it would be cool.
A third faction... LOL... they have added 1 new class in four years... and it isn't even live yet! Blizz does the minimum to keep its subs... nothing more!
