This is a feature of Atlantica that i find players like me get interested in, now i found an info regarding this one.
Note this is copied from another site which is from the amin website of atlantica and is posted here for sharing.
So here it is and hope it has clarified a lot of things. I was confused and was really looking for info regarding town control for over a week now and so aside form replies i got here, i also tried to seach and found this.

So the only way to acquire town is through bidding??? so are there no wars or you can't conquer town through bloodshed or war???
I heard there's a nation war that's a;ways held during saturdays... can they conquer town upon winning the nation war???

i think the way to acquire a nation through a war is when your guild also owns another nation. kind of like colonizing it.
can nation wars be witnessed? lol. i want to see on for myself.
