Announced today, Koch Media and Sony Online Entertainment have signed a deal which sees them publishing EverQuest II The Shadow Odyssey.
The game will come ready and loaded with the new all-in-one expansion pack and all the previous expansions for the MMORPG.
There are more than 20 new zones to explore in the new expansion, with Moors of Yksha and the dungeon of Guk as some examples.
There is no word as to when to expect this, but we will keep you posted with news when we have it.

No offense, JesterRodo
But I can never get the point with whatever you try to make. I know it's always something anti SOE but the points never seem to connect.
And, no, EQ2 will not be Disney Interactive
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
You and me both mate.
He seems quite happy in his own hate-filled world though
i want whatever he is smoking!!!!!
He's pointing out that the the article in his link is effed up and has the developer of EQ2 as Disney Interactive instead of SOE. That's the error anyway, and I can only assume / hope that's what he's trying to point out.

yeah, thats what i made of it, but, i usually dont understand anything he says either.
Oh, Sorry Emigma but the reporter from the URL said Disney Interactive which you and I both know is untrue but what I find interesting is that SOE has its own publishing arm "Platform Publishing" yet seems to be outsourcing to a company in the UK . ( No offense to the UK peeps out there).
As far as my points that don't connect , That is the reason I post , to share the puzzle with my fellow gamers , perhaps their pencils are a little sharper.( Did I just paint a bulls eye target on myself or what)
Edit: Speaking of connecting the dots, Disney Interactive does utilize the services of Platform Publishing for "Toontown Online". Its Strange that the author made such a related mistake.
Second edit: Press release explains Koch

rofl... what exactly are you talking about? We all know the Shadow Odyssey will be released soon. Thats the only thing you just said that actually matters.
So how about you connect the dots for us?
Sorry My Dear , I am SOE biggest fan and I am only trying to make sure that all of their business dealings flow in an orderly fashsion.
Based on MY OP url Quote , it appeared for a second that SOE sold EQ2 to Disneys and outsourced the publishing rights to a company in the UK. But don't get you little self worried , you will be able to buy the next EQ2 expansion , just like all the other ones ( I have lost count , this is the 5th one -right?)

Thanks. And yes, its the 5th one if you don't count the adventure packs.
Oh My Dear you are most Welcome, You know that the silly WOW is coming out with their 2nd expansion in a month from now. But they can afford not to put out expansion after expansion since they have over 10 million customers.
If you say you only have about 200 to 300 thousand customers , you may need to keep them jumping for the doggie treat of an expansion more then the frontrunner.

Jestor i would be right here with you man if the article was about SOE dire distribution of EQ2 in the UK (its an utter shambles) and i see TSO being no different either but lets be fair all that was in that article was a typo nothing more, nothing less.
Will then , Its my hope that the new partnership with Koch will improve the distribution for you in the UK but the game is still made by a Mickey Mouse Company.
