The Longest Yard
Paul "Wrecking" Crewe was a revered football superstar back in his day, but that time has since faded. But when a messy drunk driving incident lands him in jail, Paul finds he was specifically requested by Warden Hazen (James Cromwell), a duplicitous prison official well aware of Paul's athletic skills. Paul has been assigned the task of assembling a team of convicts, to square off in a big football game against the sadistic guards. With the help of fellow convict Caretaker, and an old legend named Nate Scarborough to coach, Crewe is ready for what promises to be a very interesting game. It's only the warden and the guards who have no idea who or what they're up against, with Paul the driving force behind the new team.

Any Given Sunday
When a devastating hit knocks a professional football legend and quarterback Cap Rooney out of the game, a young, unknown third-stringer is called in to replace him. Having ridden the bench for years because of a string of bad luck stories and perhaps insufficient character, Willie Beaman seizes what may be his last chance, and lights up the field with a raw display of athletic prowess. His stunning performance over several games is so outstanding and fresh it seems to augur a new era in the history of this Miami franchise, and forces aging coach Tony D'Amato to reevaluate his time-tested values and strategies and begin to confront the fact that the game, as well as post-modern life may be passing him by. Adding to the pressure on D'Amato to win at any cost is the aggressive young President/Co-owner of the team, Christina Pagniacci, now coming into her own after her father's death. Christina's driving desire to prove herself in a male dominated world is intensified by her focus on the marketing and business of football, in which all coaches and players are merely properties.

Lord of the Rings
The title of the book refers to the story's main antagonist, the Dark Lord Sauron, who had in an earlier age created the One Ring that rules the other Rings of Power, as the ultimate weapon in his campaign to conquer and rule all of Middle-earth. From quiet beginnings in the Shire, a hobbit land not unlike the English countryside, the story ranges across Middle-earth following the course of the War of the Ring through the eyes of its characters, most notably the hobbits, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee (Sam), Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry) and Peregrin Took (Pippin). The lands of Middle-earth are populated by Men (humans) and other humanoid races (Hobbits, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs), as well as many other creatures, both real and fantastic (Ents, Wargs, Balrogs, Trolls, etc.).

The 13th Warrior

Eventually surrounded by the frightening and ferocious foe, Ibn must conquer his personal fears and help battle the illusive invaders--who emerge out of the shroud of fog in the black of the night.
Even though the movie was a disapointment in the box office I like it. It's just a good movie to me especially since there is a lack of Viking movies or anything else relating to the old times when people believed in spirits in the mists and pantheons of gods. Some of the directors out there need to get their ass into gear and start making some quality stuff resembling this. And none of that shaky camera on impact crap, I want to see proper fighting, coriographed like it's supposed to be.
No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
Stalker
by Tarkovsky
Aliens landed in near a small town, years ago. Some adventurous guys survive stealing the debries left by the aliens in what is now a controled zone full of dangers and controlled by the military. Based in a sci-fi novel written by the Strugatsky brothers. This is no hollywood action. In fact, there is very few action. Shots that last for 10 minutes, be sure to be very relaxed and calm before trying to watch it. It's another kind of cinema and it's a masterpiece that will be with you always.
One of my favs is an older movie. none of my current favs are newer. I enjoy all 30's to early 60's movies. Most silent films from the 20's also.
A hard decision but one I always have fun with when I watch it is Tortilla Flat with Spencer Tracy. This movie for some reason makes me feel good.

Not sure if I was able to summarize the movie well but I honestly LOVE this movie to bits and I would definitely recommend this to every one out there who LOVES romantic comedies!
My favorite was the Star Wars Series. It would be very long if I summarize the whole 6 movies, but basically, it was a planet/country trying to have an armed revolution against the Empire(which consists of Darth Vader etc.)
I love Mean Girls as well! In fact, I happen to enjoy movies with Lindsay Lohan! The Parent Trap (twins separated at birth tries to get their parents back together), Freaky Friday (Mom and daughter switcheroo) and Just my Luck (Luckiest girl Ashley gets her luck stolen by a kiss) comes to mind!
Well, my all-time favorite movie is already posted (while you were sleeping) so I'll settle for another one of my faves.
Finding Nemo
Do I really have to give the summary? Marlon, the clown fish goes on a quest to find his son Nemo with the help of a fish suffering from short-memory loss named Dory. Not exactly a good summary, I know. But, I'm too lazy to look for a proper summary to give it justice. Anyway, almost everyone must have seen this flick! It's one of the cutest, feel-good, family-oriented movies out there!
WICKER PARK!

Author Samantha Albertson (Demi Moore), actress Tina Tercell (Melanie Griffith), gynecologist Roberta Martin (Rosie O'Donnell), and housewife Christina DeWitt (Rita Wilson) are friends from childhood who get together for the first time in years when Christina is about to have a baby. American Pie- the first movie was the foremost and fearsome movie made out of the tree, it shows what highschool life is what about.
PLOT:
Set in 1999, four Michigan high school seniors make a pact to lose their virginity before their high school graduation after a geeky classmate, Chuck Sherman (Chris Owen) claims to have done so at a party at fellow classmate Steve Stifler's (Seann William Scott) house.
Kevin Myers (Thomas Ian Nicholas), the initiator of the pact, tries to repair his relationship with his girlfriend Vicky (Tara Reid) after they have a serious fight at the party when she accuses him of only being with her for sex. Chris 'Oz' Ostreicher (Chris Klein), who is on the high school lacrosse team with Stifler, joins the jazz choir to pick up girls, as the girls in the band know little of his insensitive jock reputation. Paul Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), the mochaccino-drinking sophisticate, pays Vicky's friend Jessica (Natasha Lyonne) $200 to spread rumours around the school of his sexual prowess, hoping that it will increase his chances of success.
Jim Levenstein (Jason Biggs) pursues Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), an exchange student from (former) Czechoslovakia. After she comes to Jim's house to study with him, she has to change clothes after her ballet practice, so Stifler convinces Jim to set up a web-cam so they can watch her change. Jim quickly heads over to Kevin's house to watch with him. Once he gets there Nadia is seen on the computer discovering his pornography collection hidden in his dresser, and instead of being offended, she begins looking through it while masturbating.
Kevin urges Jim to go back home, saying this is his best opportunity to lose his virginity. Jim arrives and Nadia orders him to strip. Meanwhile, it becomes apparent that he had incorrectly addressed the email with the web-cam link to Kevin and Stifler, having instead sent the link to every mailbox in the school directory; virtually the entire student body are watching.
As Jim slowly caresses her leg up to her genitals, he climaxes prematurely. As Nadia is about to leave, he convinces her to stay, but upon seeing her nude and touching her pubic area, he climaxes prematurely again, humiliating himself in front of the entire student body. In his desperation, Jim asks band geek Michelle Flaherty (Alyson Hannigan) to the senior prom, as she is apparently the only girl at his school who did not see what happened.
Finch, meanwhile, has his own problems. Stifler, angry that a girl turned him down for the prom because she was waiting for Finch to ask her, puts a laxative into Finch's mochaccino. Finch, being paranoid about the lack of cleanliness in the school restrooms, and unable to go home to use the toilet as he usually does, is convinced by Stifler to use the girls' restroom. After, he emerges before all the other students at school, humiliated and is left dateless.
At the prom, everything seems hopeless for the four boys until Vicky asks the girl that Chuck Sherman claimed to have bedded about her "first time". She proclaims to everyone at the prom that she and Sherman did not have sex at Stifler's party, leaving Sherman embarrassed and making him wet himself. The revelation takes the pressure off of Jim, Kevin, Oz and Finch, and they head to the post-prom party with new hope.

At the after-party at Stifler's house, all four boys fulfil their pledge. Kevin and Vicky have made-up and have sex in an upstairs bedroom, but the act is very awkward. Vicky breaks up with Kevin afterwards on the grounds that they will drift apart when they go to college, with him attending the University of Michigan and her at Ithaca.
Oz confesses the pact to Heather (Mena Suvari), a girl from the jazz choir, and renounces it, saying that just by them being together makes him a winner. They fall in love, begin a relationship, and ends up making love on the porch, though the reformed Oz never admits that they did.
Finch strays downstairs to the basement recreation room where he meets Stifler's mother (Jennifer Coolidge). She is aroused by his maturity, and they have sex on the pool table. Stifler finds them together in the morning and faints.
Jim and Michelle have sex after he finds out that she saw the "Nadia Incident" after all. She accepted his offer to be his date because of it, knowing he was a "sure thing", but she makes him wear two condoms to combat his earlier 'problem' with Nadia. Jim is surprised by Michelle's unexpectedly aggressive behaviour in bed. In the morning he wakes up to find her gone, she used him for a one-night stand, which Jim thinks is "cool".
The morning after the prom Jim, Kevin, Oz and Finch eat breakfast at their favourite restaurant where they toast to "the next step".

Who will ever forgot the movie Titanic? Starring Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet, If my memory serves me right I've seen it around 15 times or more. The story was really great, it made me cry. It make Leo and Kate a star. Until now, no one beats their highest top grossing movie at all time.
PLOT
In 1996, treasure hunter Brock Lovett and his team explore the wreck of the RMS Titanic, searching for a necklace set with a valuable blue diamond called the Heart of the Ocean. Unsuccessful, they instead discover a drawing of a young woman reclining nude, wearing the Heart of the Ocean, dated the day the Titanic sank. 101-year-old Rose Calvert learns of the drawing on television, and contacts Lovett to inform him that she is the nude woman in the drawing. She and her granddaughter Elizabeth (Lizzy) Calvert visit Lovett and his skeptical team on his ship. When asked if she knew the whereabouts of the Heart of the Ocean, Calvert recalls her memories aboard the Titanic, revealing for the first time to anyone (including her family) that she is, in fact, Rose DeWitt Bukater, a passenger believed to have died in the sinking.
In 1912, the upper-class 17-year-old Rose boards the departing ship in Southampton with her fiancé Caledon Hockley and her mother Ruth DeWitt Bukater. Distraught and frustrated with her engagement to Cal and her controlled life, Rose attempts to commit suicide by jumping from the stern, but a drifter and artist named Jack Dawson intervenes. Initially Cal, his friends and the sailors, overhearing Rose's screams, believe the penniless Jack attempted to rape her. She explains Jack saved her life, covering up her suicide attempt by explaining she slipped after trying to see the propellers. Jack supports the claim, although Hockley's manservant, former police officer Spicer Lovejoy, is unconvinced. Jack and Rose strike up a tentative friendship as she thanks him for his corroboration, and he shares stories of his adventures traveling and sketching; their bond deepens when they leave a first-class formal dinner for a much livelier gathering in third-class.
Cal is informed of her partying in the steerage and forbids Rose to meet Jack again. However, after witnessing a woman encouraging her seven-year-old daughter to behave like a "proper lady" at tea, Rose decides to defy him and her mother, and asks Jack to sketch her naked wearing only the Heart of the Ocean, which was an engagement present from Cal. Afterwards, the two playfully run away from the inspecting Lovejoy, going below deck to the ship's cargo hold. They enter William Carter's Renault traveling car and consumate their affair, before moving to the ship's forward well deck. Rose decides that when they arrive at New York, she will leave the ship with Jack. They then witness the ship's fatal collision with an iceberg. Meanwhile, Cal discovers Rose's nude drawing and her taunting note in his safe, so he frames Jack for stealing the Heart of the Ocean by having Lovejoy plant it in Jack's pocket. Rose chooses to run away from Cal, risking her chances of getting on a lifeboat with her mother, to rescue Jack from his imprisonment in the master-at-arms' office.
Jack and Rose return to the top deck. Cal and Jack, though enemies, both want Rose safe, so they persuade her to board a lifeboat. But after realizing that she cannot leave Jack, Rose jumps back on the ship and reunites with Jack in the ship's first class staircase. Infuriated, Cal takes Lovejoy's pistol and chases Jack and Rose down the decks and into the flooded first class dining saloon. When Cal runs out of ammunition, he realizes he unintentionally left the Heart of the Ocean in Rose's overcoat. Cal returns to the boat deck and gets aboard Collapsible A by pretending to look after an abandoned child. When Jack and Rose return to the top deck, the lifeboats are gone and are washed into the freezing Atlantic waters once the ship sinks. Jack and Rose manage to grab hold of a carved oak panel, which can only support the weight of one person. Jack dies of hypothermia, while Rose is rescued when Fifth Officer Harold Lowe returns with empty Lifeboat 14 with five other survivors.
Rose is taken by the RMS Carpathia to New York City, where she gives her name as Rose Dawson (adopting Jack's surname, leading to everyone believing Rose DeWitt Bukater died on the Titanic). Having completed her story, the elderly Rose goes alone to the stern of Lovett's ship. After she steps onto the railing, it is revealed that she still has the Heart of the Ocean in her possession. She drops the diamond into the water, sending it to join the remains of the most important event of her life. The film ends with a shot of Rose sleeping peacefully in her bed with photographs of her life, with things she and Jack promised to do. The film's final shot is a vision of the young Rose reuniting with Jack at the Grand Staircase of the restored Titanic, surrounded by those who perished on the ship. They kiss and embrace, and all the people on the staircase applaud.
