Is this enogh to kill the spammer???

later morning there's a short update that was done by ndoors in atlantica... they put some minor move in the way you send m ail in the game...

maybe to delay or stop the email spamming... we always exerience these gold sellers always spam our mail advertising their site.. it always pile up to our mail and it is very annoying having that in your mail...

So the move made by the atlantica is this.. they put a requirement in sending an email.. i believe you need some will or you need some lvl requirement.. i dont know the details.. but having these move makes the spammer delay their work or even lessen the volume they spam in our mail

    the specifics are these: players under lvl19 require 10 will to send mail.

    which means that for every 100 will, they'll only be able to send 10 spams. there may still be spams but in a way it does regulate the spammers.

    yeah this is a great help for us.. espcially those players who always being victimized by these spammers...

    by doing this... they ccan send only 10 mails mabe for every 10 different persons.. so expect that spammers in this next few days will be lessen... good job ndoors.. you always have actions on our problems in the game.. you always hear us out... i hope by this move by the ndoors the spammers will be discourage to mail us...

    That would definitely help, at least it will minimize the spams we'll receive. I can't understand why there a people who enjoy sending out spam mails, it's annoying! Anyway, this improvement is very much appreciated.

    I don't think it will be enough to kill the spammers but it might help lessen the spam mail problem we players are having. At least it is comforting to know that the developers are doing something to help our in-game problems.

    This is a good start though. At least we know that the Devs/GMs are studying possibilities to give us a good gaming experience. Just to correct something on the post above though the levels affected are all levels below 20 or level 19 and below, not below level 19. ^-^ peace out.

    What i observed is happening though is that spammers added whispering bigtime to meet there quota.

    In 2 days, I have gotten 0 spam in my in-game mailbox.

    On an average day, I got 20 mails before.

    Good change.

    This is the first truly good move NDOORS had since the CB2. There was that issue on the Auto Move and Stamina, and the one where they buy player accounts. Though I dont know until when will the spammers stop, they will find another way eventually. So seriously, I don't think this move is enough.
