Curse.com, Addon help needed, supposed to do wonders for lag.

Allright, I've been hearing great things about the 2 addons you can get from Curse.com
InfThrottle and BuffThrottle have people raving about taking away all the lag issues, especially in Scenario.
I downloaded them, made the interface folder in Warhammer, made the Addons folder in the interface folder, and then moved the 2 addons, InfThrottle and BuffThrottle into the Addon folder.
Now I have one question that I can't find the answer to? How do I get them to work.
I have tried typing the couple script commands and nothing happens.
/script d(BuffRefreshDelay)
/script BuffRefreshDelay = 3.0
Nothing. From what read, there is a script command or something that you have to do, but I can't find what to do after I install the Addons into the Addon folder.
Can anyone tell me what to do next? Cuz I really need this lag relief, even with a new video card and 3.0 GB of Ram, lol.

Most patches break addons have you met anyone that uses it?
Plus I hope you dont have winxp with that 3gb of ram.

Yes 32bit os can see 3 gigs but xp only uses 2gb a program. Unless you have professional then theres a / command that will make windows use more.
go to curse and dl the mod manager... if your using Vista remember to start it as admin by right clicking the icon.
I actually did get them to work, and although I still had a small amount of lag, the addons did help out a lot. I go to operating system tab and it reads 2.87 MB Ram, so it shows up for winxp. The video card is a sapphire radeon 3850 so it is a decent card. pentium 4 - 3.0 GHZ, so it really isn't a low end computer. You would think with graphics all turned way down, I would be able to play the game with no lag at all, but NOOOO, lol.
Anyways, they did say they were going to be working on performance issues for lower end computers in the upcoming updates/patches and stuff, so that is good. Too late though. Tier 3 is so empty I can't even do a PQ, only 1 scenario pops 14 out of 15 times, and haven't seen a destruction player on the High Elves map from level 22 to level 30. bah Don't think I will renew for a while.
I do, however, suggest that anyone having some lag issues should try the 2 addons from curse, because I did see an improvement, and that is worth something.
