Ok, sorry im done now thats just really exciting to me and i would definately pay the extra $$ for those features, especially the char stats and item db.
I just re-read the article and have some thoughts on it.
My first time through the article, I thought it would only be .99 for all those features they listed...
Now, the second time through...it seems to me that it's .99 per tool/feature....To be honest...I'd pay an extra dollar a month for all those stats...but I don't know if I'd pay 4-7 dollars extra (depending on how many they offer)...hmmm, maybe I'll just pick and choose...
I really like the item list...but then again, many sites will have these lists free...may take a littlel extra time to get them up, accurate...whatever
I don't know...maybe they should offer it free for the first month to get people experienced to it
Ya i would pay a few extra bucks to be able to check out my stats and who did the most kills etc. Pretty nice feature SoE!

I only saw a max of 2.98 (.99x3) so that seems extremely fair to me for all those features. I mean crap, youd pay 40 bucks to get almost the same features minus about half in Legends
Yes I know that Legends had a dynamic server with events all the time and stuff but Im kindof immagining that EQII is gonna be like that anyways, maybe not the events but in the other ways
EDIT: Shatter are you following me around this morning
The impression I get from the article is that Sony has realized all the money other sites are making for offering services that tie in with EQ. allakhazam and magelo come to mind. The real question is how much information are they going to give you on the items? Will they tell you where it is found and who can drop it? Will they give you solved quests? If so then this is a great bargin. This would also be much quicker and more acurate than 3rd party sites offering information. We will have to wait and see but it sounds interesting.

Thats the first time I have read about this. Fantastic news! It looks like SOE have watched other games features and improved upon them. Good Job. For those guilds that want a website but don't have members who are HTML fluent, or even have the time to make a website from a boxed program, this is great news. I am sure there will be limits on bandwidth and the amount of data stored, but still this is a great feature SOE is adding.
The basic features that are free sound great and good enough. I don't see it being necessary, at least not at first, even having to pay an additional .99c for the bonus data available. Too early to tell though.
Nice link. Thanks for the post.
