Atlantica Online is on the rise

After 1 month in the open beta stage. i find atlatica online is one of the hottest mmorpg nowadays...
Im sure many will disagree.. but if you look in the game you will see a lot of people were playing almost all towns in the asia were crowded by the players i think why people hate this game is that they thought it is a final fantasy wanna be game... bu it is not.. it is very different from the final fantasy.. we should not compare the two...

I agree. the two are different in a lot of aspect. I was able to finda game before that may look almost the same to the battle system of Atlantica but the revisions and other tactics that you can do ingame outlined the difference. I am a satisfied player of Atlantica online and the integration of different scenarios and system that may have been adapted form old games that was modified into a real strategy system makes it all great.
May this game last longer then what others expect.:)
Wow, some of these reviews are seriously seriously scary. They sound like the Stepford gamers. "Atlantica is great, all hail Atlantica, Atlantica will guide us to freedom."
I play the game, its decent, nothing amazing. If your looking for an second MMO, or one to hold you over till your anticipated one comes. Then this one is as good as the next Asian grinder.
The visuals are above average from your freebie mmo.
I would highly suggest reading guides on the game as any mistakes made in your build will haunt you later. For example you wont find a party when your lvl 40 and doing 50% damage less than the rest of guys.
But if your into that 'tweaking' and making 'pure' characters that have like 99 strength and 1 defense, this is the game for you. So figure out from the start for each mercenary which is the uber spell "the one you need to pump all points into".

Yeah i had some problem in my team i'm lack of hitter so i recruit a new one and i only hire y new mercs in latter part of the game.. and now having low lvl mercs it is one of my weakpoint right now...

Atlantica is not the hottest new thing.... it had the intial surge, followed by a severe drop in users, as people decided it was not for them. This is a decent game, and one that will most likely survive (wheras many of the new games are going to die out) but it isnt as hot as many existing MMO's.... just newer.
i agree AtO is definitely on the rise,, the longer i play the game the more people i tend to see in the the Atlantica world... i really do hope they release a new server as my server in Mycenae tends to be pretty crowded at peak hours
