Do you collect anything? (or have you)

I collected magic cards years ago.   Use to have a black lotus (now worth $1,000) which I wish I would have kept.  I think at the time it was going for ~300.  I don't collect anything now.

So do you collect anything?

As a kid I collected hockey cards.I had thousands from over the years. I even had a few Wayne Gretzky rookie cards from O-pee-chee and a few from his days playing for the Greyhounds in the OHL (1 was even autographed) When I joined the military and was away my mother had a garage sale and someone bought my entire collection for 20 bucks... :(

Nowadays that rookie card goes for anywhere between 10k to 80k.....

I collect comics here and there. Mostly X-men and Batman. I also was into VTES the past few months but the closest group I could find was too far for me to drive and I just collect the cards now.

Don't be terrorized! You're more likely to die of a car accident, drowning, fire, or murder! More people die every year from prescription drugs than terrorism LOL!

I have a passion for really crazy freaky lights. Yes I know this is my addiction, I love them, I love the way they make me feel and I can't get enough of them.  If it lights up, glows or illuminates  it gets me all sorts of excited! I can't help it.

    These are just soo hawt!

Can you guess my favorite color? (* note this is not my personal collection these are just images of like items to give you an idea of what I am talking about*)

I have a decent stack of Conan comics.  Dunno if this counts but I've kept every ticket stub from every movie I've ever seen in the theater....

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

When I was a kid it was Star wars action figures...but I ALWAYS opened them up and had fun rather than collect them for posterity. let my kids tear them all to hell when they were growing up too lol....don't regret it at all.

Now i seem to collect computer parts...lol...but not by choice!!!!!!!!

Devil, thos lights are hot!  I swear I could spend about 5k in lights alone at an Ikea store, though they have NOTHING like those pix you posted.

I collected POG before, during my childhood days. I also collected some sports cards, and the like. Right now, I still collect mecha figurines when I have the time, and antique paraphernalia.

I collect gopher heads. I use a wrist rocket to kill them in the backyard and then I decapitate the carcass and keep the head as a trophy.

I do eat the meat, of course. Otherwise, it'd be a demented sport.

My grandmother collected spoons. The little tea-and-sugar types you can get at gift shops and the like with a part on the handle that says where it came from. We'd get a spoon from wherever we went and give it to her, so her collection is around 200 from all over the world.

When she passed on a few years ago, my family took over the collection. We've added about half a dozen new spoons to it too since then.

Personally, I used to collect coins, stamps, comics, and baseball cards when I was younger, and now I collect manga and toys.

But if you ever got good at it, and money ever became worth something, you'd come back to find out your mother sold it because she didn't realize that it was actually worth something after all of these years...

TV DVD series seems to be the new thing for me.

Wish Jericho would have another season...

And likely of picking up House.

    And that is why...

Conservatives' pessimism is conducive to their happiness in three ways. First, they are rarely surprised -- they are right more often than not about the course of events. Second, when they are wrong they are happy to be so. Third, because pessimistic conservatives put not their faith in princes -- government -- they accept that happiness is a function of fending for oneself. They believe that happiness is an activity -- it is inseparable from the pursuit of happiness.

I collect video games, specifically RPG's.  I try to purchase every collectors or limited edition game I can.  Even if I play them for a month at a time, im drawn to purchasing CE's and games.

Other than that, im an HR Giger fan as well as an Alien fan.  I collect mostly rare Alien figures etc.  I also have a limited edition Alien Egg Giger print which is signed and has an appraisal sheet framed on my living room wall.
