You can form groups in the game with up to two other players I believe. Honestly though I wouldn't waste your time... This game is an extremely repetitive asian grinder =(. I tried it but could only play for a day or two before it was fairly boring unfourtunatly.
HUH? wtf u saying its grindy? man i got to lvl 10 in 10mins lol but i never got to a part were i could form a group thats all i want to know befor i go back to it
Your saying because you got lvl 10 in 10 minutes its not grindy?? Get to lvl 30 then come back and talk to me... Plus feel free to coment on the immersive quest dialogues that seem like they are written by a 5 year old heh.
well ok....when u get to 10 in 10mins that means its not grindy dude...most grindy games like archlord takes u an hour to get lvl 10...and idc about quest dialog lol,
You can be max 3 players in a party. You also get more xp if you are in a group. You dont need to be near eachother to get the xp bonus.
Does Archlord have 100 lvls? Getting to 10 in 10 minutes in Atlantica is equivalent to getting to lvl 5 in games with a lvl cap of around 50. Besides in any lvl based mmo getting the first 5 - 10 lvls usually takes anyone with half a brain no time at all.
If you don't care about quest dialogue then all you will be doing in Atlantica is killing groups of monsters over and over and over. With the exception of some of the bosses they all feel very very similar and its never very challenging so if this is not a grind then I don't know what is.
Grouping is tons of fun - especially in the group-based dungeons.
It all depends on what type of game you like to play - if you like doing the same fights over and over again (FF1 to grind gold, FFT to build characters, Disgaea to do just about anything, etc), then this may be the game for you. AND you can do it all with a friend (or 2) - which is added bonus.
The good thing is - it's free. No $50 lost on a box from GameStop
Personally... I haven't felt it "grindy", but I'm quite casual (2 kids)... *shrug*

Yes there is a group system. You can also fight alongside with each other. I guess that is the great feature of Atlantica. Playing/Fighting together against enemies. You'll develop teamwork and leadership while playing the game.

The total number of players in a party is 3. though this is more than enough since the total of mebers for the three players is 27 giving more than enough action in combat.
This game is not grindy specially when you do it in grops which is not necessary but adds fun. You simply follow the questline and your good.
group fighting is possible you can form a band of at least 3 parties composed of 9 members each totalling 27 fighters on one epic battle against mobs in shadow dungeons...
its funny though becaus if you fight pvp in a shadow dungeon one on one,, enemies will randomly reinforce you and help you out in the battle against the other player
