How did you get in beta? I thought that turbine rewards program was suppose to let you in betas with a higher chance the longer you are subbed to one of their games. I been a long time DDO subscriber and lifetime to LOTRO and I did not get in.

There was beta registration at unlocktheminesofmoria.com (registration for beta is now closed though). I saw that Turbine Reward thing as well and would assume what you just said. But I guess since it's just an expansion, not a fulll game, they would only want LOTRO players to try it out... which, to be honest, sounds more reasonable.
