And pretty well every other applicant has at least the one ticket as well, making it pointless alltogether, as it really will not increase your chances at all.
Its random, all of mmorpg.com's contests are, the ticket system just ensures you login to the site on a daily basis, instead of signing up for the contest and just checking back to see if you won anything.
Kind of goofy tbh, but its there site to do what they please with.
i see guys u dont know whats the reasony for thos tickets, this even as many have a serious prize (beta key for cb or graphic cards). SO im sure this tickets prevent having multiple accounts or people just logging to take a prize. hope u understood what i meant
The point is to get you to log in every day to look at their ads so they can sell more advertising. Also the few extra days allows people a chance to pick up a day or two if the were late getting started or missed a day of logging in.
I entered in time enough to gain one additional chance. Check more frequently for new contests!

I am going to win, I just feel it. Have the client downloaded and patched with the account activation screen open. In the off-chance I don't win, I will just have to hang myself with an ethernet cable.

It's highly probable that you have to claim the prize before you're listed as a winner... What do you all think this means for us =(?

Why does the contest site say, "We will be selecting all 16 winning tickets and contacting each one by e-mail as well as MMORPG.COM private mail."?

That worried me too, but hopefully that's just a typo.
That's a confirmed mistake... It's due to a previous contest they ran that only had 16 prizes. Some admin confirmed it in another thread the other day.
That's the problem this site has with boiler plate text. They use a lot of it in contests. There is usually at least one error contained in any contest description.
My fingers are twitching to type in a key. Any admins help me out here? It is a medical condition!
