Wow, the MMORPG Beta Contest is almost here...  Can you feel the anticipation??


Fact: In the United States, 4% of all children are born with a heart defect.
Fact: Only 1% of those has Ebstein's Anomaly.
Fact: My daughter is in that 1%.

    well chances are I like everyone else that entered wont win. but hey...its only a month until release. no big deal either way. i would be nice to get in though so i can tell exactly what my PC needs as far as upgrading goes.

    I joined this site through finding out about the EQ2 beta contest. I have logged on every day since it started. To be honest, win or lose, I'll still be coming back to this site every day. I love reading the forums here. =)

    Do you have some kind of proof that its only a month until release? ive looked all over and cant find a damn thing that says FOR SURE when its coming out. Its all estimated.

    No one knows.

    Frankly, I doubt they've even got a firm date at SOE. There's a date they'd like to ship by, which is most likely Nov 15th, but whether they will or not remains to be determined.

    I'm kind of torn between wanting to win...and hoping I don't.

    If I win...important stuff that I'm working on right now might go down in performance...

    1) The new drawing time for the North American contest is 9PM EDT on October 15, 2004 (this is a later time than the original 6PM time - so those who don't get this notice or the email will not "miss" the contest)

    2) The new drawing time for the European contest is 5PM EDT (21:00 UTC/GMT) on October 16, 2004 (this is a day later than the original time of 6PM to ensure that no one "misses" the contest, you will just need to come back the following day!)

    You're right. No one is going to win. There isn't actually a contest, it's all a scam to get people to log on in Pavlovian fashion to increase the number of hits on the site, and thus, the ad revenue.

    *chuckles* Hey! Im getting nervous with 52 mins to go!  Even if I dont' win the whole moment up to finding out is enough to drive a person crazy.  Yes the chances are slim with only 15 invites going out to North America, but hell! Its not like im losing or spending anything to try and win right? *crosses fingers and toes though anyway*
