To me rpg is roleplay which can be done in any game. In planetside you roleplay your a fighter for the empire etc. Rpg to me does not mean levels and slow bad combat.
If they didnt include mmofps on this site I wouldnt be here.

I was around in the early beta. I begged them to add food and dogs.
Anyway lol.
It's a persistant world. It has a level grind.
The PROBLEM is not Planetside but the perception that genre's like shooting do not belong in
a Role playing game.
I probably more in a role in PS than any other game. My outfit, Roughnecks Emerald, was so massive and my command so good. That SOE banned me for using my power to "put a hurt" on other non worthy NC officers (roleplaying).
