How does Mythic get its feedback?

1. Warhammer does not have official forums.

2. The popular forum WHA is moderated by forum nazis who even do not hestitate to ban people (i.e. me) for feeding trolls. I quoted something (no harrassment, nothing) for a forum troll and got banned. On top of that, I don't think many CSRs are reading those forums at all.

3. Mark Jacobs and a few other Mythic developers/producers are commenting in weird forums maybe 2-3 times a month. I even tried to register to one of those sites and could not succeed.

4. I have sent a total of 70-80 feedbacks through in game tools. None of them (yes, none) have been adressed so far. My feedback was not childish or idiotic. All of them were regarding bugs, balance issues (not nerf related), CTDs, disconnects, UI etc.

5. I have cancelled my subscription a few days ago. No survey, no asking why I have cancelled. Nothing. In other games (AoC, LOTRO) they were asking why I have chosen to quit.

So, I am asking you dear Mythic representatives who are believed to consider the customer feedback, how on earth can we make you listen to us??? You are not giving any feedbacks for our feedbacks, you change some stuff time to time, you nerf some stuff (healer renown nerf) time to time, yet you chose to do nothing serious for 2+ months (until December).

Sorry but I do not like your business.

    OP:

Through in-game Feedback reports and through all sorts of forums (vnboards / warhammeralliance).

If it's one thing mythic knows it's listening. Don't even try to argue.

And do you think other companies listens MORE because they have official forums? ROFL think again. They are mostly made to let people interract with eachother.

    So yeah, case closed here

Sorry that is just a bit too easy right there. References please!

I think the game has potential, but the worst part is Mythics weird communication plan that revolves about MJ. They don't have real forums, they don't have a GD speaking to the gamers, there is very little feedback besides MJ's yapp about competitors, his death anxiety and so on. Who are the guys looking into our problems? I have seen so few devposts that I get a creeping feeling of that this might not be heading the right way.

I have read countless CSR posts in WHA. I am sure you got banned for a reason other then what you say but we don't need to get into that.
    3. Mark Jacobs and a few other Mythic developers/producers are commenting in weird forums maybe 2-3 times a month. I even tried to register to one of those sites and could not succeed.
Yes registering for forums is a mystery
    4. I have sent a total of 70-80 feedbacks through in game tools. None of them (yes, none) have been adressed so far. My feedback was not childish or idiotic. All of them were regarding bugs, balance issues (not nerf related), CTDs, disconnects, UI etc.
I am sure they get thousands of reports of bugs daily. The game has only been out for slightly over a month with hundreds of bug fixes so far, i am sure they will get around to many many more every day. They cant do it instantly when they get your feedback.
    5. I have cancelled my subscription a few days ago. No survey, no asking why I have cancelled. Nothing. In other games (AoC, LOTRO) they were asking why I have chosen to quit.
Countless games don't have a survey either not a huge deal.

Ok you don't like their business, well go to AoC and check out how your feedback is taken. MJ/CSR's post alot in the forums and listen to their customers more then any company out there.

They are releasing a huge update in December bringing back classes everyone is excited about. Many more balances but your main complaint is its not fast enough for you.

Things take time.. Balances take time, nothing is done instantly.

I personaly are glad they took them out and  put them back on the board and figured out a better path for those 2 classes to make them more enjoyable. If they were in the game and they were not fun/broken classes, people would have complained 1000x more then when they took them out to replan their approch to those 2 classes.

Look at whole picture, not crying because you dont get it your way.

honestly that's BS...did you rly sent 70-80 IG feedbacks ? OMG sry but get a ****

like the first poster said a lot of things the community thought was wrong have been adressed so how can we please except than knocking at your door to ask you  what you thing ?

anyway...I never felt like my opinion had an impact on any game I played...so I might not be the best person to critic you

in this day and time of communication i think Mythic not having a offical forum is a bad thing

WAR has no where for the community to form

thousands of people left and thousands more will leave because a community is failing to develop in the game

Mythic need to join the internet age look at Lotr not only do they have a nice wll moderated forum but are

now  going for a chat lobby and a lot of other out of game social stuff

communities need a place to hang out and vent even if it's not what you want to hear

MMO's are meant to be social and the esaier we could meet and talk to each other the more popular the

game will be go to 5-6 different fan sites and see the different experiences people are claiming and i see

a lot telling people that are ready to quit to come to my server and i'll help you out

the only problem i see with this is i had to go to 5-6 different websites instead of a central place

this community and game are begging for a place to communicate but i have seen the moderation at the

fan sites and will not register at any thus i cannot commicate with the community

so to sum up if ever a game cried for a site for all to come together this is it

Just read the first but it seemed fine. They told him to do an ingame appeal so the appropriate team can handle it (god forbid they work instead of trolling forums). Last guy said it took him 2 min before he got answered whats the big deal.

I dont pay 15 dollars a month so they can play with you on forums.  If you have a problem report it in game.

Community doesnt start on a forum but in the game. Forum users are a small minority of gamers. Dont assume everyone who plays mmogs troll forums aswell.

I think you want a forum community not a in game community.   Every game ive played I made friends in game. Heard of famous people on my server in game.  Help people with problems in game.  You dont need a forum.

Have you even played a mythic game before?

You are simply being untrue and not telling the entire story regarding WHA, or you are unaware of the difference between a suspension and a ban. WHA uses a points system to determine the level of discipline required for action taken against a user, warnings are issued first, repeated offenses lead to infractions, suspensions and then a ban.

It takes 12 points for you to be issued a ban, a warning is worth no points, infractions are worth 4 points, and suspensions/bans (depending on the nature of the offense once assessed) are issued when your account has accumulated 12 points.

The only exception is in matters of extreme disrespect and rude behavior, in these cases a user can be immediatly suspended or banned.

So you either have been acting up there for quite some time and they finally had enough, or really stepped out of line and earned a suspension or ban uber quick for some callously made comment or reference. The bottom line is that if you cannot abide by the rules of there forum, then you don't deserve to be there, and they have no problem enforcing that fact.
    3. Mark Jacobs and a few other Mythic developers/producers are commenting in weird forums maybe 2-3 times a month. I even tried to register to one of those sites and could not succeed.
Care to provide links to a few of these so-called "weird forums".
    4. I have sent a total of 70-80 feedbacks through in game tools. None of them (yes, none) have been adressed so far. My feedback was not childish or idiotic. All of them were regarding bugs, balance issues (not nerf related), CTDs, disconnects, UI etc.
Thats odd, I've been giving solid feedback since Beta 2 and I would be hard pressed to find a single area that hadn't been addressed.
In fact, since release every issue I've submitted feedback about has been dealt with already effectively and efficiently, or is planned for the upcoming big update in Dec.
    5. I have cancelled my subscription a few days ago. No survey, no asking why I have cancelled. Nothing. In other games (AoC, LOTRO) they were asking why I have chosen to quit.
So, you are annoyed because they just let you leave silently, instead of badgering you with a survey full of questions that really do not represent the real reasons most players quit for anyway?
So, I am asking you dear Mythic representatives who are believed to consider the customer feedback, how on earth can we make you listen to us??? You are not giving any feedbacks for our feedbacks, you change some stuff time to time, you nerf some stuff (healer renown nerf) time to time, yet you chose to do nothing serious for 2+ months (until December).
I disagree and I believe I can be counted among the majority, your opinion is most certainly the minority. Plenty of us are happy with the game, its direction and the level of communcation between the developers and playerbase (Mythic has better communication with its playerbase these days than any mmorpg that  has been developed. That is a fact.)
Sorry but I do not like your business.
You are completely entitled to such an opinion,
However, it is clear the issue is not with the business or company, you start the thread by whining about "nazi mods" because you couldn't keep a respectful attitude on an online gaming forum. At that point any credibility you hoped to maintain further down the statement was already destroyed beyond redemption.

Just accept the fact that you need to grow up, learn how to conduct yourself like an adult, stop blaming other people for your own shortcomings and get over it.

I've had infractions on the WHA forums but at least I have the decensy to acknowledge I stepped over the line and "fed trolls" or "replied in a excessively negative manner". I take the fraction like a lesson learned.

i disagree with the need for official forums. I personally use WHA to socialize or just stay in the loop regarding announcements from WAR. I've voiced my opinion on their forums and did it in a way that i didn't come across as a flamer or some one whining. This is the trick to not being banned for trolling =p Anyways, i like a fansite runned forum because it empowers the mods to do something that most times would go unpunished by official forum mods. imo it keeps the good in and boots the bad out.
