As I've decided to open up all my boxes, I didn't notice that there were no space already. I've open up a lot of boxes that I didn't check out my item list, I didn't get those items that I got from the box. Is there a way to retrieve those items and were did it go?

I believe you won't be able to retrieve those items anymore... When you open a box, there's always a reminder that says that the item you will get will be lost if there's no available space in your inventory. That's why I always check first if I have some space before I open any boxes. I'm not exactly sure where the 'lost' items will go... I assume they are destroyed or something...
Yeah, there is a warning before you get an item that you must have extra spaces in your inventory in order to get that item. The items will disappear whenever you open a box and you got full inventory. So you better check your inventory first before opening a box.
if you don't see it in your inventory, maybe you can check your mailbox. when you don't have space in the inv, it goes to your inbox.
if both are full, that's when the items don't pop up anywhere.

No, there is no way you can retrieve those boxes. You should check your inventory if there is space available before opening an item box or any kind of box. In that way, you won't be wasting those precious items, or maybe a rare item.
