    Obviously it's this:

    "Atlantica Online - In-game Battles - Turn-based MMORPG

Atlantica Online is a strategic turn-based MMORPG. The game play is different than other MMORPGs. Atlantica Online's battles are similar to traditional RPGs like Final Fantasy.

When fight a monster you go into a battle instance. Battles are turn-based with a time limit for each turn. You control multiple characters in the battle and you add more characters to your team as you play the game."

So did you have something to say about it or..?

And I don't want to hear anything about "I don't believe in vampires" because *I* don't believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what *I* saw is ******* vampires! "

I wouldn't be surprised if turn based mmorpg became quite popular with the casual crowd if it was done well.

It won't matter if you have the reaction speed of sloth, have the worlds biggest graphics lag on your circa 1995 pc, or need to got to the toilet half way through a boss fight.

Being that there is very limited skill involved I assume it's very gear based though.

This is not quite a shocker for me also. They just did a good marketing strategy. And Atlantica is everywhere, they targeted the right websites to do their ads such as friendster, on which a lot of user logged on to it. This is a great news for us gamers.

hmm. i'm not pretty sure if i get this threadstarter right but i'm assuming that you're amazed?

well, we share the same sentiment. my friend just told me about this and from his stories, i could say that the game was really swell so i tried it. it wasn't much to my dismay when i experienced that the game is actually much better played than heard or looked at. :D

You do need a brain though, which 80% of MMO players usually lack.

Your post is pretty much totally wrong, atleast play the game before writing such crap (the "it won't matter if you need to got to the toilet half way through a boss fight" pretty much gave you away, do that and you'll  be dead when you come back) .

And about the "very limited skill involved", as a person who has played standard MMOs since 2001 i can safely say this one requires way more skill (atleast in pvp).

Chess obviously has very limited skill involved because it's turn based... right?
