Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning: War Grab Bag

SzarkSzark News ManagerMember Posts: 4,420

The WAR Herald has been updated with another edition of the Grab Bag, which answers player questions about Warhammer Online.

Q. I have spent three points in a Mastery path, but have not received the first Mastery ability. The bars have reached the ability, but there is nothing in my spellbook. Am I doing something wrong?

A. Reaching the ability on the bar unlocks the ability to be purchased. From there, you must spend another point to purchase the ability. You can do this by clicking on the ability to highlight it, then clicking the train button. When you do this, it should spend a point and the ability will appear in your ability book.

again you do not need to pve to get those items ( Well if you consider keep taking pvp that is )

Annihalator and Conqueror set = Pvp ( 1 part from the merchants , the others drop from pvp ( when killing players ) and then on the sucky gold bags when taking a keep lord

    Annihalator ( pvp ) = BloodLord ( pve on Bastion stairs )

    Conqueror ( pvp ) = Sentinel ( pve on City dungeons lvl 40 )

Maybe all the complainers should look again at the armor listing.  For each armor tier there is a set from RvR and a set from PvE.   You can mix and match the set to get the Wards which give only bonus's against the attended keep lord, city siege mobs adn the kings etc.

There's 80 RvR ranks...do you really expect to just keep fighting those and never get rewards? Of course now maybe people interested in some sort of help against the Kings will think about coming out to the RvR lakes to have a better shot at the RvR gear sets.

this whole controversy is retarded to be honest.  It takes all of 5 to 10 mins to gather 6 people go after the PvE bosses its not like they need to organize 24+ people.

If you dont want to PVE you dont have too the only beneficial reason to have the sets is if you ever plan to go against the King and certain Lords.

You do understand thats WAR endgame is the king... The endgame in a RvR game is focused mainly around grinding PvE gear...

As it stands you can only get 2 sets of Gear from rvr/pvp that help you do a small bit of end game.. and its 1000000x easily to sit in PVE dungeons to get the gear rather then in a roll out of 50+ people to get your set item, that is if the correct bag is even on the list to roll for.  So in the end you have a chance at a chance to get your set item, that makes people say "Screw rvr for set items i can pve for those items alot easier".

So now you have people PVE'ing to get items rather then sitting in RvR lakes because its pointless. You get more renown from scenarios, you get better items from PvE. whats the point in RvR until you have all the gear and numbers to actually push the keep lord and kill him, Which wont be for awhile so don't expect people to be happy about a flawed system making RvR pointless and unrewarding..

If you think iam wrong ask ANYBODY that has been in T4 longer then 1 day. RvR means nothing right now since nobody has the Endgame gear to push the keep lord.. who cares if they take zones they can't kill the king so there is no point to rvr and worry about the zones until people have the gear.  This is not just my opinion its all over many many servers.

Heres a bit more information if you didn't understand how much PVE gear grind this game actually is. And how long before RvR actually is going to be needed.. When people are RR 60+ thats when RvR is needed until then people cant use the gear to kill the king. So why bother taking Keeps for crap renown and chance at gear when that will takes you months apon months to even hope to get a set to go further into endgame, where you can do scenarios to grind the renown you need and pve to get the gear alot quicker..

Right now RvR pools are a joke.. accept it, you are just fooling your self thinking otherwise.

Please Tell me iam wrong. because i wish i was.
