A big trend in MMORPGs have been the monthly subscription. Subscriptions in MMORPGS can very greatly with some as low as a few bucks a month and some as high as twenty and beyond per month.
As we all know, (being the gamer you are) that not everyone plays games including MMORPGs as often as everyone else. You have the casual gamer, which may boot up a game for just a few hours a week, and then you have the power gamer which plays the game well over eight hours a day. Does it seem fair to charge each person the same amount of money per month if each person plays for different amounts of game time and uses different amounts of bandwidth on severs? The question I ask, is weither or not online game developers see this trend and if they ever tend to address the issue. There needs to be a new pricing policy for different types of gamers out there. Has no one ever herd of purchasing hours instead of whole months?

Purchasing hours... What happens to the people who play 15 hours a day? I think the price is fine. If you yourself are acasual gamer and are not happy with the price, there are two things you can do:
1.Switch to a free mmorpg like Guild Wars
2. Try to open your schedule more or try to play the game more.
Currently, casual gamers will really just have to stick with the subscription just like everyone one else
