In a bit, yeah, but as Karahandras said you can get involve in crafting and fishing (to be honest I haven't tried the later since I haven't learned it but I'm looking forward to it). Also, if you're into turn-based or want to try turn-based, I'll say give it a shot. You might enjoy it.
When I hear grind, I think of a game with a few quests to complete (usually killing 100s even 1000s of a certain mobs) and then you pretty much just pick a good mob to grind and just go there and grind to get xp to level up. So if that is what your asking, I would say no Atlantica Online is not a another F2P click and grind.
Every turn-based battle can be different
Gambling
Arena betting
Crafting
Dungeons
Quests (and quests within quests within quests)
PVP
Free-League
Championship events
Treasure Hunting
Boss battling
Sparring Hall
Merc training (trying out different line-ups - some pve some pvp)
Fishing (crafting)
Town Quests (guilds)
Guild Quests (guilds)
Training Centers (guilds)
Guild Dungeons (guilds)
Nation Wars
Just a few of the things that imo makes this NOT a click and grind.
hmm.. i'll try taking your question piece by piece..
ANOTHER
YES. turn-based. mmo. but isn't every game out there like another MMO? and you just find reasons to make it unique that some people may troll on or agree with.
FREE
well, if free is in the context of spending to play the game, YES. you don't need to buy a CD to play it nor pay to download it.
but if free means not spending anything. NO. the item mall is coming out soon. some items like licenses which you may need will be there but if you strategize enough, you could play without the item mall. the way lvl9xs are playing open beta without the item mall. so the item mall issue is more or less a matter of choice.
CLICK
hmm.. YES and NO. to move, you don't necessarily have to click. as SGTfrog has said, there's the automove. also, during battles, you can opt to use keyboard shortcuts rather than the mouse.
GRIND
YES AND NO. some people who like grinding have been complaining about stamina and how it tends to limit grinding. if you're one of the people who hate grinding though, i guess stamina will work for you.
so i don't know. this game is quite a toss up. though it's also seems that it's up to you if you can make the features work for you.
Yeah the game is free but on the 'click and grid' part, uhm, I really don't think so, well, there may be parts when you have to grind, but it isn't pure grinding. There are lots of stuff in it just as mentioned above. You can also try the free league in which players go head to head with other players.
Comments
nope....its auto move..
you just click auto move to have your npc walk for you from quest to quest and quest location.
this is not a joke
March on! - Lets Invade Pekopon
yes and no
u can use the arrow keys or wasd to move rather than clicking
the combat is turn based and different from anything else i've seen
there is a large amount of crafting available
a large world to explore and quite a few options to play with
but i do have to admit that the quests are mostly go there and kill x of them
so a f2p grindfest but above the average f2p grindfest and worth checking out for yourself
for a f2p game its not too bad of a grind really, i say give it a try its a breath of fresh air to be honest.

it is actually unique in mmorpg land. i dont know why nobody pointed that out. it isnt that hard to try it and make your own decision either.
click n grind?
Hardly, as a matter of fact you'd be hard pressed to play it in the dull lack luster eyes of a hardcore grinder. Simply put.
You enter a fight:-
New map, all your mercs are there -
>see: Old turn based rpg.
You fight like you would in a few billion console rpgs and quite a few million pc rpg's.
It's different for sure.
And on a note , Stam is more a buff now than not.
