Have any of you tried destroying any items just because you lack some inventory space (and your Rome warehouse space and let's even pitch in the market sell space that I'm sure some of you must have used for the purpose of storage)? Just a random thought...

What do you mean by destroying those items? Well, if my inventory goes whacko and it is so full with loots and everything, I tend to sell those items at the market, usually some players buy my items, I believed that they need it on some quest. You can also try to create a new character and send those excess items to that characters.

Well, like you said, inventory max'd, warehouse max'd, market slots full, - I have disassembled (used hammer) armor/weps to make space, sent something as a gift, mailed it to an alt (this is getting expensive to do now days), or simple drag and dropped it out of my inventory window in essence destroying it.
well i haven't used the warehouse at rome yet, i've destroyed a few things already. like fur cos they sell low at the market.
to destroy, you leftclick the time and drag it outside your inventory window then leftclick again. ta-dah! destroyed.
you can always create a mule account. an extra account where you just send all your excess items to.

I haven't thought of creating a new character and sending my stuff there! Great idea!
I just realized that I haven't shared my experience but so far I haven't destroyed any items (except the quest items since after the quest the are pretty much useless...
) but I'm thinking that I have to in the near future since my inventory is kinda getting cramped. But creating a new character and sending some items there does seem better than the alternative.

Yes i have destroyed a few items at the start of my time in atlantica. But now i sell any useless stuff to the hospital in any town.Some of these items go for below 10 gold on the market so i might as well get 10 g each from hospital.
Yeah, I got a lot of items destroyed by especially when my inventory has no room for extras, and then suddenly I got another important item to store. That is the time I am forced to destroy some of my items, especially minerals.
