i like to play the underdog, so lets take a poll and see which faction will you play. WHICH EVER GETS THE LEAST NUMBERS I WILL PLAY!

Back in 2007 everyone wanted to be Elyos, Maybe it was because of the bat wings and or the koreans did not play the asmos that much. But now with more info, new wings, pic's, and videos of asmos the playing field has leveled off.

Easily Asmodian. Why? Simple, they look "evil." Granted, anyone who's read up on the game knows they're not really evil, but everyone else looks at them and goes "dark elves with wings 8D" and will then proceed to misrepesent the race for the remainder of the game.
Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

asmodians level up faster then alyos till early levels arounds 10- 15 levels. it is designed for reason by a developer. asmo's wings so cool in CBT3th and more popular then elyos . so asmodian i think.
levels will be equals at around 40lvl. elyos getting faster then asmodian after 15 lvl.
There was an interview where the game designer said that they will level equally on open beta-release.

On all of Aion sources polls Asmo have a slight advantage but their is an estiment that casuals will pick eylos.
Hard for me to say.
I think a good many friends will play Asmodian and I might even be leaning toward them if it wasn't for the stupid looking claw feet. Yes I know, shallow reason but they drive me nuts and aesthetics play a huge role in my life.
So it's possible that I might go Elyos. We'll see after Beta (if I get into beta).

Well atm info shows that both sides are actually quite equal. However, I really do expect that when ncsoft starts to market aion that this will change. Right now, the only people who we know about are us - the die hard fans that already love the game before its even finished being made. IMO, once it is released / advertised I think we can expect to see the majority of new players leaning towards elyos for obvious reasons.

I've been leaning more towards asmodian lately. Which is not what I would normally pick I was always one to pick a "lighter race" but when it came to the look of asmodian i just loved how they looked. More fierce I guess. But i as well like to play the underdog, I don't want to be on a winning side if the only reason we're winning is the fact that we have twice as many people.
I'm really not sure, leaning toward Asmodian right now. I really liked the old wings but I can dig the new ones too.
I'll probably read up more on the lore before I get the game and make a final decision though.
