Epic Fail - Their item pricing is ridiculous

Move along, nothing to see here. They just unveiled their microcurrency store and the prices are beyond retardedly high. Seriously, go take a look at their Item Mall on their website. I had fairly high hopes for the game until I saw that. Now? Not even going to install the client and try it.

I think the prices of the permanent merc storage and inventory are ok. The rest of the stuff is probably 2x too high, IMO. Not that I was really planning to buy anything from the item mall anyways. I will buy some permanent merc storage though, I feel like I at least need to give the devs something for this fun game.

If you are gainfully employed, those prices are definitely reasonable. Get a job.

How can you say such if you haven't really tried the game, the price is just right, since some of the items sold at the item mall has a far more better feature than of buying it in game. Before commenting such, you should have known the facts presented first, and not solely based your opinion on what you have just read or seen. No one really cares of your opinion since we do all have our own free will to choose of to buy or not, to play or not. So, move along and go somewhere else, maybe in Timbuktu?

Meh, it's your money to throw away.

You are definitely right with that idea, but I won't throwing out my own money since I do earned them, so the items that I will be buying at the item mall will just served as a treat or gift to myself for a job well done. Actually, a money won't be that much a problem if you do have a work. But for those who are just still in college or high school, There are still ways to earn money, by simply having a part-time job, and awarding yourselves for an item. So what will definitely go wrong?

I the prices are to high, less people will buy the stuff. Since it doesn't really cost anything to produce the items, you want to sell as many as possible to a resonable price. Too low ain't good either off course, the game need to earn some money.

F2P games are often played by students and schoolkids so the prices shouldn't be so high. Off course player with a work can afford it but many of those do play P2P instead.

We can't really say that every gamers who are already working usually play the p2p games, are there any statistics that can support your claim? If you can't actually support your claim how will people believe on what you are saying. You must present facts here and not just gossip or whatsoever. I believed that workes will still be playing f2p games since it is for free and that rather than buying off their income through game time. So which will be better playing p2p with item mall, on which you'll be spending your money for game time and item mall items or a f2p game which just offer the item mall?

The prices are fine.. noone of those items are really that important so if you really need those pay..

the bigger problem are all those bugs which aren't fixed yet and they already want to launch ato.. I really hope they will release big patch tomorrow.

@TwilightEdge: i quite agree.. i feel that the full release has been too quick for the development of the game.

on the item mall pricing, i dunno. maybe you could do with them. strategy is the key..
