i really hate it that a lot of people are selling their stuff way below the market price. like some skill books which should cost 11k but people are selling it at 1k++ only. it's really annoying cos it keeps the items with fixed price off the market.
what's your opinion on the matter?

Simple answer , do not fool people , your game economy and market is controled by in - game support and thus it do not make any sense in the strategy you are trying to throw upon us. Sooner or later all will find out. Geek gamers are no stupid people in here you know.

If people are selling them for 1k, then they aren't worth 11k, they are worth 1k.

I believe if the player's willing to sell their items at a low price, those items are really valued at the price. Isn't it the purpose of the seller is to sell their product and the usual case of that happening is when one sells it at a lower price? I'm sorry if it annoys you (I'm apologizing since I believe I'm one of those people you're talking about
) but that's just how the way it is, I'm afraid. Maybe I'm too easy to sell my items at a low price since I'm not really concern about my in-game money.
I don't buy that much in the game but I enjoy selling stuff in it.
Really annoying that some people cut price too much, this way stuff value drops. When I want to sell fast, I set 1 gold cheaper than last price
I usually sell cheaper than people who are selling items on the market as well. It depends on the item though, if it's a noob item with no enchant I'll price it according to what I think a new character can afford.

I really didn't understand a word of this but .......as to the question or opinion.........there are people that will price for quick sale and undercut the price and there are people that have no clue. If the going rate is around, let's say 3000 gold for a certain item and someone brings in a stack of 100 at 2000 gold then (1) you can get a deal by buying them all up and putting them back up at 3000 (what happens when someone else comes along and puts some up for 2000 again? well it will be up to you to decide if you want to continue the market game by buying up the next batch as well) (2) you could put yours in at 3000 (3) you could put yours in somewhere in-between.
I have found that eventually nearly all items will sell. Ex: I had a +3 Ogre rifle I didn't need and didn't really want to dismantle. I think the price was around 50k but there were pricing ranging up and down to around 14k (granted we are not talking 100s but the 1s and 2s. I priced mine in at 40k and next day I logged back in it was sold. I think it is a patience game and just think you can put your items up on the market and keep playing not worrying about them where in other games you have to actually stall your items and you are unable to play during your stalling.

it's actually pretty much to the disadvantage of those who craft. they can't get back the money they spent on the materials of their craft making it hard to gain profit too.

I guess we just have to deal with it. I do sometimes sell other stuffs very cheap just to get rid those items out of my inventory. And sometimes, I do not look at the rates that is why sometimes I price the item too low than what is worth it.

How can you make gold at lower levels in Atlantica Online.
The game Atlantica Online has many support people always playing the game. They are the ones you can never beat in free league and they are the ones who levels like a rocket even if you find it hard sometimes to keep pace being a geek gamer.
But you can use them up for your own good. Atlantica Online runs advertisement base forums in all the gaming sites. You just need to act as a newbie and then go and post there that you want to make a guild. The chances are that you will get a response and someone will make a guild with you. Though after this post of over- riding their stupid pseudo gaming world I am not quite sure they are going to do the same mistake again. When you have a guild you should always look for recruits from the community beginner’s column. The community beginner’s column where people have their whisper greetings like hello, have a nice day and wassup are your target. If they join you then they will devote around 4 hours (pretty much half of any support system shift timings) to your guild. They will learn skills and they will fix the guild points by doing town quests. They will talk in the guild chat and make you learn the game. They will also make you greedy and get higher levels but levels past 60 is boring and without much population. Continuing this way you can have a guild and a town and some free gold from the town transfer fund. But this will be not long and thus you can use that gold either transferred to another character of yours or just up your skills and level a bit. Sooner or later this support people are going to be permanent offline as they have to help other low level characters to get attracted to the game and in turn sell their game gold or the item shop in it.
But what you did in turn is like using their support guys to get you gold and in this way your lower level gold support can be done. I wish that Atlantica was less controlled by the support guys and towns were open to players but that is not going to happen. So this is a wonderful way to enjoy your Pseudo competitive gaming world and use the thoroughly infested by system support people in making your gold and surely time passing with this free to play game till better games come out.

The simple law of supply and demand thus the job, the higher the demand but the supply is low, then definitely the the item is quite expensive at the market, but if the demand went down and the supply is up, the pricing will be more cheaper. What I just hate is those other players that just keep on lowering down those items even thouhg the fix price is just around 500 and they'll sold their items for just around 300.

Answer is simple ........
Go and try and make some market sells with your character at 0 gold both in bank and with you and sell an article at higher the fixed price. I did the same and my item got sold in 24 hours that i was AFK online. Demand and supply is not working here what is working is just pure pseudo system with a different explanation through demand and supply.
The game is realeased and it has many faults , what about this basic fault in the system ?
The limited time actualy in laag do not allow you to take the turns or in laag it do not allow you to take all the turns and thus you miss turns. If you shout the problem out in free league then people may answer all your other characters were stunned. You can make the same logic against monsters too. But my explanation is we have a faulty system released as a game which do not work when it laags and thus this error if not fixed and i do not know if slowing the game more will fix it, will eventually kill the game.
