What is a good MMORPG?

I've played different MMORPGs over the course of about two or three years.  It started with EQ, made it's way to Tibia and RO, almost got into DAoC...  My question to the forum is this:  What is your favorite MMORPG ever?  What were it's strengths and weaknesses?  What made it special?

    Actually, I'm more interested in hearing all about why they like these games.  I can easily go to all the high rated games in the game list, but I want to know in depth why someone would play DAoC over Everquest, or RO over Guild Wars.

    the forums REALLY need a "search"... thing...

    anyways im bored/tired... i say my favorite has to be Lineage 1... why? because it kicked ass, nuff said...
