dvd version

in Everquest II

does anyone one if the quality of my dvd player will have an affect on the playability of the game?
I bought the dvd version of eq2 and am wondering if the dvd player is jsut used to install the game or is it also used to play the game? So should I opt for a high end dvd player or stick with the basic player?

    Quality of the DVD player will not affect quality of play.
