I accidently deleted my sound on my computer
and iI don't know how to get it back
. I was deleting a lot of stuff because I thought I had a parasite on my computer. So please, if anyone knows how I can get my sound back on Windows Me, I would stongly appreciate it if you post it here

format/reinstall windows...
funny though, i've never heard of somebody "deleting their sound"...
usually running a few virus scanners turns up better results then mindless deleting sprees though... keep that in mind ^^
that should also get rid of any "parasites" you may have too...

LOL, don't you want to be sure you have a virus on your computer before deleting very important files. I don't know, just seems like a virus scan would have been worth the effort.

LOL, that's kinda obvious.
To reinstall windows just pop in your windows cd and it should give you an option to reinstall.
I'd would try that first before reformatting your hard drive.

Um, I'm not sure how you "delete" your sound...other than maybe un-installing your sound card which could be done by deleting a driver ini file...tell me can you hear sound at all if you are listening to music or playing a game?
