Two Monk builds

SlappanSlappan Member Posts: 289

Have any of you tried 2 monk builds? I was thinking of replacing my shaman/oracle with another monk. The advantage of this is that you have more SOP/Protect, and more chances of awakening and holy guard. On the other hand, you lose a lot of healing, although healing doesn't scale well in pvp. What are your thoughts on this?

Looking at your point, it does make a good advantage but the disadvantages also comes out of it. 1 is that you lose a big attack power on your team. 2nd is that holy guard can't be healed and concentrated attack on it can kill the merc. The good part of holy guard that i noticed though is that it gives a heal each turn without loosing mana for the monk. Now, even if awakening is weaker than blessing of life it can heal a cross pattern which comes handy. So maybe try to give it a shot and give us your findings. It is quite interesting. ^^

Yeah, the problem is leveling another monk, which I find to be a pain in the butt. I'll probably try it out sometime in the future, after I've tested the oracle extensively regarding it's pvp and pve performance.
